Johor princess Tunku Tun Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Ibrahim tying the knot with Dennis Muhammad Abdullah yesterday has been the very much talked-about event on social media recently.
And while most commented on how regal yet simple the occasion was aside how stunning the only daughter of the Sultan of Johor looked, judging through pictures and public screening, no one really knew who were among the invited guests at the grandeur reception last night.
But a posting on American songstress, Nicole Scherzinger’s Instagram, has given it away, confirming that she was in Johor Bahru for the royal wedding and actually performed at the reception last night which saw 1,200 guests in attendance.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer and X Factor judge shared a photo of herself in a sparkling black pantsuit, posing in front of the Istana Bukit Serene grand steps, saying she was honoured to perform at the palace.
She also shared a Boomerang of herself in her performance outfit by American designer, Michael Costello, thanking him for the daring red gown she so flawlessly pulled off.
Nine hours ago, in the wee hours of the morning, Nicole shared on her Instagram Stories a video of her ordering take-out in a KFC outlet owned by the princess, as she was accompanied by police escorts.
Tunku Aminah once relayed the KFC outlet in Johor Bahru is her main business, and main source of income, aside working with her father part-time for the family’s palm oil business.
“Terima Kasih,” she gestured to the police officers standing at the entrance as they waited for her to arrive with her bag of KFC goodies.
Among her other snaps showed her getting her hair and makeup done, while the karaoke version of The Pussycat Dolls song 'I Hate This Part' was playing on the TV screen.
Nicole also expressed that Malaysia is beautiful, and in her latest posting on Instagram, she shared a sunrise view from her hotel this morning saying, “Got the golden ticket this morning to see one of God's greatest creations.”
Many fans left a warm welcome for her in the comments section and praised how beautiful she looked in her account which boasts 3.2 million followers.
In 2011, Nicole told RecogniseMagazine she would love to perform at the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, deeming that would be her dream gig.
"It would be my ultimate gig to play – I’d sing Stickwitu for them," she said. But we're guessing, if she did not land that gig because Ellie Goulding did instead, she must have performed 'Stickwitu' for the dashing Johor royal couple.

oh all that will be reserved for after parties, takkan dia nak dancing pakai baju kurung kot
Yes I pun baru tau ada after parties so it make sense now that she reserved all the high end dresses for the private parties |
