Arbutin di dalam produk kosmetik. Bahaya atau tidak??

Ha cuba you check balik, kot la the whole range including sunblock ada arbutin.

Ha ni dia uols. I nyaris beli ni. Nampak macam semua pun ada arbutin

itu i ckp..kebanyakan byk produk cosmetic/ kecantikan contain arbutin. kenapa ada few negara dah ban tpi kat malaysia boleh yek? |

maksud I produk yg kena makan/minum/cucuk kat urat,muscle semua..kalau compare dgn produk sapuan seperti krim, percentage utk yg krim ni meresap ke dalam salur darah amat sedikit utk tindakbalas kimia berlaku..

Makcik I ada pengalaman penah pakai sheet mask yang beli kat Sasa ada arbutin ni pastu muka dia bengkak merah2 sangat. Dah la dia pakai malam raya, habis beraya dengan muka bengkak tu.
Dia tanya kat kawan dia (kawan dia pharmacist) maybe kulit dia tak sesuai dengan arbutin kot. So maybe depends on your skin jugak la. |

Arbutin bahaya ker chuols? Yang i tau bahaya, paraben. Tapi dalam tak sedar banyak produk yang i pakai memang contain paraben 
Baru-baru kemain gigih nak try SKII, tapi ada paraben jugak. |

kita refer buku Milady's yg selalu menjadi rujukan utama para Estheticians...kita guna google book je..hehe..

kalau taip Milady's arbutin..akan keluar buku2 Milady's ni yg ada keyword arbutin..dan semua part yg kita baca takde yg kata arbutin ni bahaya.. Arbutin ni sama group dgn Kojic acid, Licorise root(Glabridin) sebagai Tyrosinase inhibitor.....

Abstract
We studied the inhibitory effects of 4-hydroxyphenyl alpha-glucopyranoside (alpha-arbutin) on melanogenesis in cultured human melanoma cells, HMV-II, and in a three-dimensional cultured human skin model. alpha-Arbutin showed no inhibitory effect on HMV-II cell growth at a concentration below 1.0 mM. Melanin synthesis in cells treated with alpha-arbutin at 0.5 mM decreased to 76% of that in non-treated cells. The cellular tyrosinase activity of HMV-II cells also significantly decreased, while the expression of its mRNA was not affected. Melanin synthesis in a human skin model was also evaluated by the macro- and microscopic observation of its pigmentation as well as by quantitative measurements of melanin. Treatment of the human skin model with 250 microg of alpha-arbutin did not inhibit cell viability, while melanin synthesis was reduced to 40% of that in the control. These results indicate that alpha-arbutin is an effective and safe ingredient for skin-lightening.

Pesanan khidmat masyarakat..
Melanin help protect the skin from UV light induced damage, so bila dah pakai produk yg inhibit formation of melanin ni, kulit dah kurang natural defence against UV ray so selepas pakai produk skin lightening ni wajib pakai sunscreen atleast spf 30 ke atas + broad spectrum .
