Baru habis tgk cerita ni. I sgt boleh relate cerita ni, nak2 sbb i br 2 3 thn kawen n still belum ade rezeki dpt anak lagi. Masalah bz, lack of communication, high expectation, demanding n kawan2 mmg used to be real probs with my husband. Masa tgk cite ni I nmg boleh menangis2 n senyum sekali la. Jarang tgk cerita melayu yg walaupun ceritanya simple tp olahan, skrip n lakonan berkesan. Well done team MPN!! Good job!! |

my personal favourite scenes:
1. Scene kayla merentan masa drive bwk kucing dia, lepas dia dgr armand talking on the phone dgn camelia. Dia membebel and rants to her cat, strawberry. Pastu tiba2 ada slot apa ntah kat radio bg tips rumahtangga, terus kayla terdiam. aku pun biasa jugak membebel sorang2 dlm kereta mcm kayla..
2. Scene gadoh teruk. First aku suka the long take on steadicam (aku agak la) yg the camera dok move around dlm rumah tu mmg on point sgt. kita boleh rasa mcm kita pun ada dlm scene tu. and secondly, punca gadoh teruk tu sbnrnya kayla nak armand jujur bgtau apa/knp dia call camelia...tapi tapi tapi...dia tak nak tanya direct. armand ada problm kat tmpt kerja. so both stress. then, mula ungkit hal remeh temeh pasal knp kucing dorang kena potong kaki, pasal armand tak panggil plumber and etc etc etc.. benda ni mmg sgt normal dlm kehidupan rumahtangga. benda kecik, tp boleh smpai minta cerai.
3. lepas gadoh teruk, kayla balik rumah mak dia.. mak dia dah boleh agak dorang gaduh sbb kayla dtg terus peluk mak dia. But mak dia tak tanya pun wht happen, cuma dia ajak makan nasi lauk sambal tempe. watak mak kayla ni very inspiring, tidak keruhkan keadaan tapi cuba pujuk dgn cara yg natural je.. ibu contoh sgt tau.
4. Scene lepas buka makan wajik tu... armand tiba2 rasa sedih bcause ramadan dah nak penghujungnya..so he said, kalau betul2 nak pisah, i want u to take this house. i cannot imagine my life without you. mata armand berkaca2 dan kayla pun sebak tapi dia cover n control. alif satar deliver his dialogue very well. aku nangis okehhh.
5. Ending scene is best of the best. masa kayla bukak puasa makan nasi n lauk pajeri nenas yg armand bekal kan.. dia terus sebak and immediately call armand.

my overall review on this film,
1. aku suka dorang betul2 fokus on the characters in this film. how they portray armand as a professional chef, tunjuk betul2 gaya dia memasak..prepping the ingredients..sangat2 meyakinkan. same goes to kayla as an architect, tapi agak pelupa dan suka tinggal brg.
2. acting best giler. alif and tiz nailed it. betul2 gaya pasangan urban armand and kayla.
3. skrip and screenplay sgt sedap and smooth.
4. sinematografi very on point. cuma scene arman n kayla byk indoor (almost all) and medium/close up shots. kalau dpt satu atau dua wide shot esp ending scene kat airport...menarik juga kot.
5. aku sukaaaa sgt ost sampai hati.. sgt catchy ala2 tango.. best best best.. |

Lambat sikit bagi review.
Anyways I just love this telemovie. Semua scene on point, bukan setakat filler. Lesson : Communication is really matter in a relationship. Sebab Kayla tak tanya directly dekat Arman pasal Camelia, habis kelam kabut sampai nak bercerai. Scene dekat airport sedih plus sweet sangat. Overall suka sangat chemistry Tiz-Alep-Leha dalam ni. Hopefully ada director satukan dorang lagi pasni  |

Baru berkesampatan nak review telemovie ni.
My overall take on this telemovie is positive. Editing kemas, background music great, lead actors are fantastic. Storyline is nothing new: husband and wife looses their spark, wife mintak divorce, and husband try to win her back. There's a saying that "to win a man's heart is through his stomach", well in this case, it's the woman's stomach which is at stake.
The key to bringing back the relationship is of course the title of the telemovie, "Memori Pajeri Nenas"
For me, a good telemovie to watch on a Sunday afternoon.
However, good as it is, I personally don't think this telemovie qualifies for Astro First Exclusive where viewers kena bayar RM15.90 to watch it. For me, movies of that level are something like "Cinta Paling Agung". Memori Pajeri Nenas falls into the same categori as "Kekasih Elektrik" (which is also one of Siti Saleha's, by the way), and therefore more approprately ditayangkan di slot Citra Exclusive.
Go and watch it if you haven't. I'm sure you will enjoy the telemovie. But whether you will be satisfied spending RM15.90 for it, well.... that's another matter. |
