sy kaki soup .. sup tulang tu paling best.
malang nye sy takleh shake off suka pada lemak lemak kat beef tuh!

Cholesterol ni sekumpulan material..alah macam gula la..pelbagai jenis..dikalangan org ramai, gula dimaksudkan dgn gula teh tu. Cholesterol dibuat di dalam liver utk kegunaan badan; malah semua cells kita boleh synthesize cholesterol kerana ianya penting utk cell. Tetapi boleh juga dtg dari lemak yg kita makan. Nanti @biskutraya  akan buat thread pasal cholesterol n food in the near future, dan dia akan tag Knowlee.
Secara ringkas, yg kita tgk utk kesihatan cardiovascular ialah:
Total Cholesterol
LDL
HDL (good cholesterol)
Triglycerides (TG)
Ratios mereka


Secara ringkasnya: Cholesterol kita boleh kurangkan dgn mengurangkan makanan berlemak dan ber-cream. Juga elakkan overeating. LDL sgt susah utk diturunkan (LDL sy pon tinggi), kena exrecise dgn byk! Tapi jika cholesterol kita dapat diturunkan, LDL pon tak akan jaid terlalu tinggi. HDL boleh dinaikkan dgn certain food. TG boleh kita pantau dari pemakanan semacam kat atas tadi.

Jika tinggi sgt, maka kenalah ambil ubat. Jika TG tinggi sgt sedangkan lainnya OK, ada ubat khas utk itu.

Jgn risau. Utk permulaannya, elakkan mkn lemak, jaga berat dan exercise.

Good info! I jarang makan red meat sebab leceh nak masak. Lagipun memang dari kecik mak i selalu masak ikan and sometimes ayam. Tapi red meat sedap

Owh gitu. Make sure ambil protein dari sumber yang lain kalau tak makan daging. Contoh: tempe, tau ...

Sy bukn doctor..tp mungkin u blh try ambil cod liver oil.. 1capsule per day... Or if u ambil yg suspension,  minum lah 20-30ml per day..recommended utk turunkn cholesterol n TG..selain dr jaga pemakanan dan exercise

Thanks for the recommendation. Sebelum ni pernah makan fish oil 1000mg. Sehari sebiji je, tapi takde kesan. Pasni boleh try cod liver oil pulak.

TG saya within range. Lupa pulak berapa. BMI saya 23 saja. Still normal. Tapi memang kena turunkan berat sikit la sekarang. Exercise pun dah lama tinggal. Makan pun tak jaga. Plus, mmg ada family history high cholesterol ni.

saya pun ambil cod liver oil every other day
juga vit d3 (sebab tmpt sy tinggal mmg jarang sgt matahari kuar), so my vit d was so so low

sis biskutraya....
nak tny sikit..few mths back uric acid  saya agak tinggi dari paras normal...so saya stop seafood dan ulaman yg tinggi purine...
bila dah back to normal...sy start la mkn seafood sikit2..cuma saya notice skrg ni sy cepat rasa gatal2 di bhg hidung selepas mkn seafood...
adakah sebab sy dah lama sgt x mkn..maka body saya dah kurang kekebalan gitu....
