I kenal dia sikit saja, but I do know after donning the tudung she was very particular about it.

Having said that, this thread is about celebrating her career as a legend. Her career peak was during the fashionable, pretty, free hair years. Do we forget those simply because we think Islam punishes based on people's past behavior? As an analogy, when someone embraces Islam, her past life should be forgotten, her photos put away never to be seen, as God will continue to punish? I dont see how the notion of photos will get someone a continous punishment. Because of this very narrow belief, we no longer can see, legend like this for example because of the irrational fear of celebrating her life before the shariah compliances.

When we recite bismillahirrohmanirrohim, do we not learn anything?

Would love to see her photos.

Tahun lepas ketika di Balkan, saya sedang di cafe Kawan Saya, bersama Dino Merlin, yang juga Kawan Saya. Dino is a famous Balkan singer.

Cafe ni Tak besar sangat. Pasang lagu dari you tube, pancar Ke TV. Malam Friday night, Kami pasang lagu lagu Dino, Dan adalah yang menari.

Saya bangun, told the friends let's listen to my singer. Saya pasang lagu sharifah aini. First Noural Ain. They, including Dino loved it! He said what a talented singer! They all danced to her musics.

Then Saya pasang yadadan, and a few other songs. Lepas tu Saya tukar Ke Saloma Bassanova, bila larut Malam.

People loved them! And they recognized how good these singers are, especially sharifah aini. Dino was asking me about her. So that was a night to remember, my tribute to kak Pah. :-)

Saya pernah berjumpa dengan Kak Pah di Mahkamah dan sempat bergambar dengan dia masa kes dia dengan Dato' Ct dulu.  Kak Pah sangat peramah dan kecantikan beliau sangat asli...Semoga beliau di tempatkan di kalangan orang yang beriman..

aku ingat lagi kaset time tu bungkus dgn surat khabar
ada satu kaset tajuk "kau yang bernama" cover depan  kak pah posing dlm kolam
tu lah kaset yg hari2 arwah bapa aku dok lap
