Barracuda is a large species of fish that found in warm and temperate waters of the world's oceans. They are known for their aggressive and dominant predator behavior. There are more than 20 different species of barracuda with a maximum length of nearly 2 meters. Different species of barracudas vary in sizes and colors. Most species are dark on top, with silver sides and a clear lateral line that extends from the head to the tail on each side.
They have a pointed head and powerful jaws, containing rows of sharp fang-like teeth used for eating larger prey. They mainly feed on crustaceans, anchovies, groupers, and other smaller sea creatures. Other features are the 2 widely separated dorsal fins and a forked tail fin which allows them to swim very fast.
