any relation with the poem 'The Road Not Taken'?

I don't think so. The writer is a phsychiatrist. He basically comes up with his own theory of relatonships, and love, and traditional values.

Rather radical, especially compared to the western ideas.

I especially am interested wehn he challenged the idea of 'true love' versus 'romantic love'.

In his opinion, romantic love is not 'true love' per say, but rather just a notion cooked up for commercial values. When we are feeling romantically involved with someone, it does not necessarily mean we are 'in true love' with that someone. We are just feeling romatic about him or her.

His ideas, and theories, does made me think a lot about my past and my life and the way I choose to live my life.
