true, we are the ones who make all the decisions. if you look closely at that poem, you will see that it is not blaming god, it is showing proof through logic that god cannot be omnipotent (can do everything), omniscient (knows everything), and benevolent (does good things) at the same time.
you can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Problem_of_evil
also, "evil" does not only refer to those that we do by our own conscious acts, anything that is not good is considered evil, for example things that 'could' have been prevented by god such as natural disasters.
Because God is omniscient , hence any knowledge from God is true and accurate , but because we are not omniscient hence we may perceive something to be evil but it may not be so in reality . Let's face it , we presume a lot about a lot of things without any sure knowledge ,therefore our presumption cannot be considered as a concrete proof to ascertain the reality of things . That's why God sent down the Quran as a guidance to let us know what is evil and what is good, as He is the One who creates evil and good hence He knows fully well their reality therefore knowledge from Him is concrete , accurate and reliable .
Because God is omnipotent hence He can create whatever He wills and whenever He wills as He likes without subjected to any pressure from anyone . If God had to consider our desires and wants first before proceeding to create anything (evil and natural disaster included) then He would not be free in making His decision therefore He could not be said as omnipotent .
Because God is benevolent , hence God sent down the Quran to guide us , so that we can avoid evil deeds , and so that we can gain the knowledge about the reality of things , so that we may know that natural disasters are not evil , but simply trials for mankind and stabilizing factors for the equilibrium of our planet and everything in it including us.

Natural selection does exist, and yet it's only related to evolution by definition of change in the inherited traits of a population from one generation to the next.
This basic definition of evolution isn't the same as proposed by darwinism. Darwin further expanded the meaning by saying that new species can be produced when a group of a certain species undergoes either mutation, genetic drift, natural selection or adaptation whilst they are separated from the whole population. This is proposed for the whole animal kingdom (human is included).
Maybe we don't care if this happens to other animals or plants (I don't believe it occurs in them either) but this theory also suggests such evolutionary process in human being.
So, are there any proves or evidences that backs up this application towards human? Surely there're fossils of species so called the dawn of humanity however there're scandals and refutations related to em.
