wing chun tu sejenis kungfu yg dah lama wujud sebelum bruce lee lahir lagi. jeet kune do pula adalah martial art yg diasaskan oleh bruce lee yg mana martial art ini menggabungkan wing chun, western boxing, french fencing (stances aje la, takdela guna pedang btul2), dan grappling.

dato' meor dan bruce lee ni ada satu persamaan, iaitu kedua2nya adalah martial artists yg suka buat bodybuilding exercises, sebab tu badan berketul2. berbeza dengan kebanyakan martial artists yg hanya berlatih martial arts, tapi tak angkat berat.

Well, GM K.Brand is a 2nd Generation Yip Man. As his instructor in Malaysia, I am a 3rd Generation Yip Man.

The most important fact is, we do not teach Yip Man Wing Chun, because there is NO Yip Man Wing Chun.

All students of Yip Man learnt different things (not even the forms were clearly organized) Yip Man did not have any strict System of Wing Chun at all. For that reason, those who proclaim being the original Yip Man Wing Chun are just opportunists and liars. First, there is no Yip Man Wing Chun System, not only that, majority of those who claim today teaching a "pure Yip Man Wing Chun" never trained with him.

Also, the so-called Sifus ("instant sifus", born during the Yip Man Movies trend) have absolutely no knowledge of Combat.
Dare to test them! Ask for a trial class... You guys will be surprised "how they select their members" or avoid some "appointments".

The same people who display 2 or 3 certificates of attendance (?), which of course are not examinations degree. How to examine someone according to a system which never existed? Finally, no one can become a Master (Sifu) in 2 or 3 years. Not even 10!

For example, becoming a doctor requires many years (12 to 15 years) of hard work including applying, studying, testing, writing, practicing, and training. Wing Chun is a complete discipline. Those who proclaim themselves "Sifu" and flood the internet with ridiculous kung-fu demo are tarnishing the Name of Wing Chun.  

Of course, if you are looking for some Kung-Fu Movie Associations with some bros sharing the same interests, then, it is ok.

My message is addressed to those who are looking to learn a realistic Self-Defence system. A Complete Art strictly dedicated to Self-Defence.

Feel free to join a trial class, I will answer your question and explain you in details (if necessary), all the wing chun's tricks used to cheat newcomers.

The greatest secret about Wing Chun is, it has never been a soft or relaxed system! That was the trick.
A trick that makes people train "something" that looks good only when applied within "the same community".
A trick that helps weak and greedy teachers to control easely their strongest students. (by inhibiting their natural power!)

IP Man atau Yip Man tak asaskan Wing Chun(Ving Tsung) tp die yg mmpopularkan Ving ...

teknik wing chun buka dua2 tangan. sbb dia cuba menepis dan menyerang balik (counter attack)
tapi bruce paranoid dan perfectionist, dia tak suka guna teknik yg musuh boleh serang balik.
jadi dia buka satu tangan (front) dan genggam penumbuk satu tgn lain (defend)
