While engagement rumors swirl surrounding actor Orlando Bloom, and girlfriend Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, Entertainment Tonight has the truth behind the rumors.

On Sunday, reports surfaced that Bloom and Kerr were engaged and that the two are set to marry within the next year.

[size=1em]Orlando Bloom is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend Miranda Kerr, after proposing during a romantic getaway.
[size=1em]The Hollywood heartthrob apparently whipped out a diamond ring while on holiday with his Australian girlfriend in Morocco.
[size=1em]The celebrity couple have been dating for nearly three years, with Miranda’s brother letting the news slip.

[size=1em]He reportedly said: “He's finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They're getting married.”
[size=1em]Earlier this year, Miranda denied rumours that Orlando gave her an ultimatum after she turned down a number of wedding proposals.
[size=1em]At the times, she said: “What a load of baloney – as if anyone would do that.”
[size=1em]Miranda and Orlando are said to be planning their wedding for next summer, although they are yet to set a date or decide upon the location.

Orlando Bloom was in LA on Tuesday to do some solo shopping. He stopped by the John Varvatos boutique on Melrose, where he just might have picked up a holiday gift for himself. Around this time last year, Orlando was with girlfriend Miranda Kerr when they headed out to purchase skis for an upcoming vacation. Whether or not they'll ring in 2010 side by side, let's hope that the next year brings many more trips together for the sexy couple and its fair share of shirtless moments for Orlando and his fellow British heartthrobs. He was hard at work keeping his abs in tip-top shape Wednesday, when he joined friends for a trip to the gym.
