Bola.net - Luis Figo memberikan pujian pada Cristiano Ronaldo, yang saat ini banyak dianggap sebagai harapan utama Portugal di Piala Dunia 2014.

Menurut sang legenda, Ronaldo adalah salah satu pemain terbaik di dunia saat ini. Ia pun berharap musim hebat yang sedang dijalani oleh CR7 bakal memberikan manfaat positif untuk Portugal di Brasil bulan depan.

"Ia adalah salah satu pemain terbaik di dunia saat ini. Saya pikir ia ingin memenangkan Bola Emas. Ia sudah menjalani musim yang fantastis dan bagi Portugal, ia adalah nomor satu," tutur Figo pada Daily Star.

"Portugal banyak bergantung pada Cristiano Ronaldo, jadi semuanya tergantung apakah ia fit atau tidak, dan pada penampilannya di Piala Dunia," pungkasnya

Ronaldo, the focal attacking forward and top scorer for Portugal, has been slowed by injuries to his thigh and knee for several weeks, but midfielder Joao Moutinho told inquiring reporters there was nothing to worry about.

“Ever since he started to train with us he has been 100% like the rest of us,” Moutinho said. “Everything is fine with him but there is some caution, not only with him. Today many other players were using ice as well. There is nothing to worry about. The ice is normal after training.”
