To develop, code and maintain company software application using VB and SQL.
This is a programming job. Candidate must have programming experience using VB 6 and SQL.
IT Programmer
Develop and maintain company software and applications using VB6, .NET and SQL in Windows environment
1. Responsible for supporting and maintaining customer/in-house computerised application systems developed by the company.
2. Understand and practice the standard and definition of programming techniques and documentation adopted by the company.
3. Providing technical support to customers on usage of software and applications developed by company
4. Enhance existing application to suit new requirements.
5. Gathering data for analysis or problem areas.
6. Modify program logic or coding to rectify problems or bugs.
7. Testing the modifications or changes.
8. Amend documentation to incorporate the changes and modifications.
9. Analyze software and application performance during execution.
10. Be responsible for developing/customisation of new systems/off the shelf applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
4. Experience in VB6, .Net and SQL development and programming are required.
5. WEB programming & desktop programming knowledge, skills and experience especially JAVA programming, PHP, .NET or Power Builder and its related tools are added advantage.
6. Passionate for programming and a team player.
7. Possess good working attitude, disciplined, a fast learner, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
8. Possess own transport.
