saya pula penyakit beli buku....
baca pula bukan lah laju,
perlahan macam katak puru....
Di Time Warehouse sales dan di KL international book fair beberapa bulan lepas saya beli buku2 berikut:-
(Ni tak kira yang beli tempat lain....)
Love to see what other visitors to these fairs beli...kalau ada sapa2 tau mana lagi ada warehouse sales atau book sales in general tolong kasi tau sama saya.....

aku pun mcm tu
everytime masuk kedai buku
perasaan "tamak" menguasai diri
dlm kepala dah dok pk nak beli buku (siap ngan sequelnya skali..)
tapi nasib aku tak bapa cemerlang..kui kui
family aku bukanlah org senang sgt
rasanya...dalam 3 bulan tu
barulah dpt beli satu buku
insya Allah kalau dah kerja nanti..nak beli buku setiap bulan satu
jaga baik baik..utk anak anak skali
budak yg dok sebelah aku kan...dia kata dia ada beratus ratus buku
tapin every time aku ckp nak pinjam
dia ckp ok ok
pastu sebulan kemudian..aku tanya lagi
jawapannya mesti sama
dah hilang la
hmm..aku faham kalau ada org mmg sayang akan bukunya
tapi bg aku...tak ada point beli buku yg harganya berpuluh puluh ringgit
kalau kita baca seorang saja
bak kata org
makanan yg sikit..bila dikongsi..bertambah tambah sedap

nak tanya macam mana u orang simpan buku-buku tu?
rumah saya ni we us buat satu rak buku yang besar, dari lantai ke ceiling, pun tak cukup nak simpan buku... sob sob... sebab rumah tak cukup besar. |

well done....saya memang sanjung orang yang gila buku...tak kira lah err harry porter pun tak apa..err..for a start...
pasal pinjam buku ni bagi saya lah... macam pinjam girl friend atau bini la... mana bole....pinjam buku waktu hantar balik koyak rabak atau tinggal stain kopi ...kalau kasi pinjam bini atau girl friend pun jadi macam tu jugak la....

kalau awak minat buku, saya suggest adakan satu bilik khas buat library....saya ada dua bilik penuh buku, tu pun sekarang dah merebak ke living room dan bedroom...saya rasa senang bila balik rumah letih2 tengok beribu buku tersadar di rak tunggu di baca... satu khazanah rahsia for use and pleasure yang bila2 masa saja kita boleh buka kunci nya...

glad to know ada orang lain yang suffer penyakit yang sama.... i can't enter kedai buku.... kalau enter, at least ada 1 buku/mags/apa2 bahan bacaan kena beli... never leave dgn tangan kosong kata orang... kalau dah jumpa buku2 yang i suka, lagi laaa... mcm hari tu borong kat popular sampai 9 books... did that twice lak tu... so, now. my budget dah a bit tight, i avoid going to the bookstores... have to wait until my financial situation is back to normal... |

Nanti kalau dah kayaaaa... (hehehehe)... top priority adalah books... followed by perfume and clothes...and... etc.
I share my books as well... tp dengan manusia yg boleh jaga baik2 buku tu... ! Pasal selalu buku-buku yg dipinjam MIA. |

yep Seri... exactly my problem... contoh k, i bought 3 dan brown's books... yg sempat baca 1 jer... and hari tu i went to popular bought 3 more books, sampai my mom bising... sbb kat kpg pun beli sama... padahal balik pun short break... dia kata dah takde space nak letak my books... i've got lots yg tak baca lagi.... |

don't worry...in the next 10 years you will not only have plenty of books in your house anymore. But nicely kept in 100GB hard disk. enough eh? maybe not....:lol |

Well friends and fellow ulat buku....I'm glad you too have the same addiction....
But Ribena (or is it Sherrinna?) Reading e- books will never be the same like real books...like making virtual love ....mana bole...and it's very hard on the eyes...
Real physical books are not only very pleasing to have...its so flexible..boleh bawa kemana2 dalam hutan pun bole...dalam bas pun bole...you can flip thru...you can feel the sensual rrrrrr of pages flipping thru yr fingers.... and if they are art books or books with beautiful pictures...it's so good to look and feel the glossy surface... and some smell very nice too....and if you like you can tattoo your books with squiggles, doodles, annotations and even ask the authors to sign for you...
I'm in love with books ...and other things beside...i don't mind having this disease...and so should we all....my dream is to build a library with thousand and thousand of art books..... I can never forget one advertisement in an art magazine...someone want to sell 50,000 (fifty thousand!!!) art books...and he wanted to sell them whole not piece meal...wonder why and wonder who bought this collection.... |

...just last friday i bought, thus adding to my books collection another 5 books...eerr...tapi...author2 dia semua ko tak sebulu greenie...:bgrin:...i bought 2 of John Grisham's...2 of Roald Dahl's and a book by CS Lewis...
...my book collection tak lerr banyak...but...boleh lah jugak...eerr...got few books yang masih blom abis baca...masih berbalut ngan plastic lagik...hehehehe... |

Merdeka lepas you pergi tak Times Warehouse Sales? Tapi kali ni I rasa buku dia tak semurah semasa awal tahun.
I pun gila beli buku, bila beli banyak2 susun kat shelf rasa bangga sangat. Biarlah tak kaya harta tapi kaya buku....
