Synopsis -
Chris Mattson (Patrick Wilson) and Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington) are a young,
recently-married couple who have just moved into their California dream home.
They soon become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their
interracial relationship. A stern, widowed, single father of two, LAPD officer Abel Turner
(Samuel L. Jackson) is the watchdog of the neighborhood.
His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes
increasingly harassing to t he newlyweds. Although he seems to be friendly at first, he shows
distrust and suspicion to Chris, whom he had assumed at first to be a member of the
moving company.
The persistent intrusions into the lives of Chris and Lisa ultimately take a turn for the worse
when the couple decides to fight back.

actually dah terbaca pasal movie ni last year... dan memang bercadang sangat nak tengok
sebab saya memang suka dengan samuel l jackson walaupun film terakhir dia yang saya
tengok 'the spirit' memang total flop...
anyway.. - he is a great actor...gifted actor -
dan saya memang suka thriller yang adult macam ni... kira banyak action and quite
controversiol etc... --- would be a tense movie (and for sure banyak script dia yang
swearing and stuff... - so, budak2 tak digalakkan sangat tengok rasanya..) -
will see this movie tonite - and will give the review lepas balik movie nanti - |

story line weak and cliche
layak masuk straight to dvd je kot

i think i like this movie...
nothing spectacular... but much better than the spirit
in term of the plot and the acting -
jackson played his role quite well - and made us cringe
with his sinister and evil look... etc -
though patrick didn't act great but his role pun bukannya
bukan strong role.. so prolly it is forgiven -
all in all - it is mediocre but not that bad....
racist policeman plus forestfire in socal -
kalau nak tengok thriller.. yang tak ada seram pun...
yang cuma berkisar tentang kehidupan... boleh tengok...
otherwise.. rent dvd pun fine -
cerita dah main kat usa in september -
dapat la juga gross profits sikit... -

beria2 nak namakan tempat macam kat hollywood sana -
dah la ditarah bukit semua --
tak selamat... nak tinggal kat situ -
yang kat puchong tu rasanya bukan on the hill, kan -?
*cara jackson berjalan... dalam movie ni nampak sangat gedebe
memang geram betul dengan dia...

tgk citer ni masa dlm flight cathay pacific on the way ke hongkong last week..citer ni ok gak la..layan jugak..tgk samuel l jackson yg pschyco..kalau aku jadi jiran dia sure aku pindah...hahahah...even dia tak banyak plot yg suspen tp still ok lagi
aku kasi filem ni 3/5..kalau lebih banyak action n suspend lagi best |
