Jom Diskus: Dilema Melayu Pulau Pinang

Salam All,
Mod, thread ni bukan untuk tujuan provokasi kaum tapi lebih kepada perbincangan isu masa kini di Pulau Mutiara ni.

Sy perhatikan sejak akhir-akhir ni, org2 kita  yg berpelajaran tinggi yg asal/tinggal di pulau ni mcm susah sgt nk dpt kerja atau tempat dlm syarikat2 swasta yg established kt sini. Contoh terdekat adalah sy sendiri, sy ada pengalaman 13 tahun & lebih dari 100 applications sy dh submit tp satu pun tak panggil interview, kalau adapun lepas tu diam terus. Sedangkan bangsa lain yg baru lepas SPM pun senang2 dpt kerja dgn gaji yg tinggi.
Jom diskus pendapat anda kenapa ini terjadi?

Bro, saya sebagai seorang Cina memang setuju dengan dilema yang dihadapi oleh bro dan orang Melayu lain dalam hal ini. Memang banyak syarikat Cina sangat berat sebelah dalam pengambilan pekerja. Jika bangsa selain Cina diambil bekerja pun, gaji yang diberikan adalah tidak rata. Saya tahu sebab saya pun pernah bekerja dengan beberapa syarikat Cina..... tetapi saya kurang bersetuju jika bro kata perkara ini cuma berlaku di Pulau Pinang sahaja. Saya lihat perkara ini berlaku kat mana-mana jer.
Namun, bukan kesemua syarikat Cina tidak adil kepada bangsa lain. Ada juga yang benar-benar adil dan ikhlas dalam benda ini. Kalau yang sampai ke tahap racist, saya sarankan bro laporkan aje kepada pihak berkuasa yang berkaitan. Good luck bro!!

Tak lah... saya orang Selangor. Saya cuma beritahu dia masalah tu bukan cuma berlaku di Pulau Pinang.

now, obviously you do not have enough experience with malay.

please mix with more with malays, there are good and bad malays out there.

Haha... I understand what u mean, bro. In fact, my best friend in my secondary school days was a Malay. Fast forward to today, I'm in the process try to win the heart of this Malay girl who works at my workplace.
Actually, I mix with Malays a lot. Anything good and bad I've observed. For those who are racist ketuanan type, I will normally shun them away. I can only join them who are not racist.
The very same theory I use when I befriend someone from my own race.

You don't even know who am I and should not try to guess or doubt who and what I am. So do I about you. I hope u understand.
Actually this thread was created by someone to discuss his problems in employment with Chinese companies. I told him that not all Chinese employers unfair to other races.
I believe some Malays and Indians employers also very unfair towards other outside their own race, but for this issue, I will comment in a dedicated thread if any...

u no need to guess, malay / indian surely got unfair to other races as well. as i experienced it. of course, is like chinese, not all.

especially malay bosses, i have much experieces about it (bukan mcm kes jatuh cinta pada malay girl, thats a totally different story)

i was like you, thought malay are friendly and good...but end up i change my mind, malay just like others, got good and bad. and when they come into power, usually become unfair.

Haha... if you want to judge who am I just from what I posted at this forum, I can't stop bro from assuming or doubt me. I am just who I am. Those who are bad, I really don't think what race he is. I will only focus on the very person, not the entire race.

xperlu la nak skeptikal dengan mana2 bangsa, kita duduk di negara malaysia. so jadi lah malaysian, tolong sesama sendiri. x perlu lagi nak berbeza kaum dah.......aku pon penah je kena tipu ngan orang india, orang cina n melayu, tapi xde la sampai x percaya terus sebab ada lagi orang yg baik daripada orang yg x baik

sekarang nih mmg vacancy agak slow...especially kilang2..
tp depends gak apa post yg u apply..low level kah? mid level kah? high level kah..
low level, competition is very high..especially if kalo u dah kerja 13 years..
13 years experience i would assume u're applying for mid-high level..which is limited.
pastu depends gak pada what industry u are apply..manufacturing kah? services kah? sales kah?

tak perlu put the blame on ur race if u're unable to get a post..
tak dinafikan mmg ada managers yg agak berat sebelah when it comes to their own races, chinese, malay, indian..semua sama jek..
but i believe that is just their own individual traits...they choose to be biased..

of coz sbb isu ni happened since last few years. u knw wat, my ex colleague yg apply sama company dgn sy pun dpt post tu except me, y? sbb dia bangsa yg sama dgn interviewer..

Bro TS, Roy observe zaman sekarang banyak graduate yg tak de kerja. Ada yg sarankan kamu buat biz, itu bagus bro. Kerana kalau kerja dgn org kena start dari bawah, pressure pun kurangnya sama juga.

Macam byk MNC sekarang pun bukannya boleh dikatakan sangat baik benefit diepa. Roy ni org cina tapi dulu zaman sekolah kaki guli, bola, gasing, layang2 tu semua betul2 One Malaysia, termasuk benggali ... lani, ish, toksah nak habak bro,.... even cina sama cina tak peduli langsung....

Soal biz tu, modal tu otai2 biz kat cini mungkin ada penyelesaiannya..... anyway good luck bro..

Lagi satu, nak masuk MNC itu ada trick die tu. Tulis resume tu ada trick juga, dan bila masuk interview juga byk trick trick yg disharekan oleh otai2 kat forum lowyatt tu. Hang kalau nak cuba juga, hang try buka satu thread camna nak pi interbiew kat MNC. Bukan senang nak dapat bro.

Macam kawan Roy, bila interviewer tanya, "Kerja tak habis lagi, dan sekarang MNC semua nak gulung tikar, so OT tak da dan mungkn kena kerja sampai larut malam tanpa OT, public holiday pun hang kena mai, boleh dak?" apa jawapan kamu?
