Thanks so much for the song dear. You buat I rasa appreciated. It is nice to be missed. Apatah lagi kita tak pernah bersua tapi I rasa seperti dah lama kenal you. Betul whatever path we walked in life will be strings of memories one after another. People come and go in our lives and they leave their footprints. Good or bad, will still be something we appreciate.

I just love all the wonderful emails Mr D sent me. Think I might even compile them in a book. Although we meet regularly now, we continue writing to each other. Mr D is an excellent writer and I have never met someone so gentle and full of love. I cannot wait to start our lives together....

I like to imagine Allah/God/Yahweh/Murugan sitting at a computer in Heaven and running the mother of all spreadsheets on His PC! The spreadsheet has everyone's name, date of birth and life situation listed on it. And what is shown on the spreadsheet happens in the world we live in. Right now, our Divine Spreadsheet has us meeting here in Malaysia. What's listed next is anyone's guess but from where I am, it feels good and it feels right with you. And I'm very happy with that :-D

Thanks for wearing the perfume honey. Even a little bit worn around home has the effect of lifting your spirits, don’t you think? I’m still laughing at your comment about some of the other perfumes you tried as “smelling like a pasar malam”!! I have taken a few sniffs of some cheap and nasty perfume sold at markets… the ones which allegedly resemble famous-brand scents.. and some of them are truly awful. Worse than fly-spray. I have sniffed these cheap perfumes which had these rather imaginative names (and these are real names): “Saddam Hussein”, “Bin Laden”, “Taliban” and perhaps my most favourite… “Dunhill Dizayar” (obviously a feeble attempt at Dunhill Desire, but hilarious nonetheless). Ooh.. I just remembered.. another one was called “Minyak”. That’s it. Not something-minyak or minyak-something. Just plain minyak. Truth in labelling maybe?

There’s nothing to fear from those gorgeous French supermodels in the parallel universe. Your life sounds really interesting and I’m so sorry that it turned out to be a nightmare. It shouldn’t have happened to you, nor to anyone for that matter. Whether you decide to tell me about it one day or not, I leave entirely up to you. If you do tell me, I won’t judge you or think you were a “bad” person because of the things you did. I’m happy to listen and I'm interested in your life. If you decide not to say anything, that will be perfectly okay with me and I promise it will not drive a wedge between us because you’re “hiding” something from me. Quite the opposite actually… I respect your privacy and I know how difficult it is to bring things out into the open again. Some things are better left undisturbed to sit in the darkest places in our minds so we don’t have to think about them. Many psychologists will say you should confront your fears, which means you should talk about the things which happened and by talking, you lessen the power these things have over you. I tend to disagree with that train of thought. I think, yes by all means confront your fears, but only when you are ready. And if you’re never ready, that’s okay. The way I dealt with my issues….some of them I put into mental boxes and (in my mind) wrote “Never to be opened” on them. Some mental boxes were marked with “Destroy” so those boxes were quickly forgotten about. On some mental boxes, I either wrote “What was that all about?” or “Whatever!” But most of my mental boxes were marked with “Learn from this!” in which the incidents were taken out at a later date, analysed, examined, pondered and hopefully resolved. Make no mistake, I still have some of my boxes, but I have moved them to an off-site storage facility somewhere in the Himalayas. They are just waiting for your boxes to join them. Don’t hurry yourself or rush yourself with these issues. Only YOU will know when you’re ready and what to do. The answer, the path to peace, is inside you. You are right with what you said; the things which happened to you, and to me, made us into who we are. The sum total of who we are today is the combined result of our life’s experiences. Each experience shapes our personality and character and influences our perception (of ourselves) and our emotional development. I think we turned out pretty wonderful, don’t you? What I went through in my life, well, I guess I made peace with it. I know I can’t change it or Photoshop it so my life looks perfect. I have accepted that I have made mistakes and despite my best efforts, there are some things which can’t be fixed…and that’s okay. Events which made no sense to me at the time have been my Teachers. The lessons I learned from my experiences helped me in unexpected ways later in life. Having a strong belief in God and daily prayer certainly helped me to know, and feel, that I was never alone, even in my darkest moments. For all that we went through in our lives, the main thing is that we survived and we’re still here to talk about it. I respect you tremendously for having the strength to have achieved the things you have and for blossoming into the beautiful person you are. All of us are works-in-progress. I had a good celebration, baru balik ke rumah ni. Dah puas beraya dan makan makan makan nonstop hehe. Mulai esok I will go on a vegetarian diet for a while, to detox. And going back on the treadmill. Kalau ada open house invitation, I will have to decline.

I mmg suka masak2 ni hihi tp bese2 je tak la pandai sgt... Yup you're right nasi tu nasik minyak, yg mi tu namanya mi jawa... Rasanya ramai lelaki skrg ni yg boleh memasak, cuba u tgk tv, i think majority celebrity chefs tu rasanya lelaki hehe..
I'm glad that you've enjoyed your raya dgn ketupat lemang yg u suka tu hehe... And good for you too jaga kesihatan & bersenam... I pun raya ke-2 dah start my routine exercises... Buat 10-12km running every week, 140 push-ups, stomach exercises and so on.. Fyi I ni tak berapa suka bersukan mcm lelaki lain tp I ni hantu bersenam hehehe..
