Lee Jun Ki Worked Without Payment For Year. Now Asking Help [Ming Pao Weekly, Hong Kong, May 4, 2009]
October 2007 South Korea-based artist Lee Jun Ki signed contract with Emperor Entertainment Company (EEG) as his manager for the Greater China region. He co-operated with the EEG more than a year. But has not yet received any reward (money). Coma in South Korea as an intermediary agency taking care the contract between LJK and EEG. However LJK has not been paid for more than a year, finally asking EEG for help in private according to reliable sources. Now legal action against coma has been officially taken.
News refers to LJK as Korea-based hot artists, Looks like his career is so smooth on surface, but .遇人不淑(LJK is too nice that always meet heartless ppl). In fact, often in private. LJK had records not been paid for many years.
South Korea artist LJK signed contract with Mentor Entertainment Company as manager in 2004. In the third year, 2007, LJK had not been paid. And there was no tax paid for him by Mentor. But LJK suffered in silence for one year. Finally in February 2008 LJK filed a request to discuss the payment of millions of Hong Kong. Incident eventually settled out of court. Mentor asks another manager to deal with the affairs of LJK and continue to cooperate.
Before this incident, LJK wages were not paid, Mentor has singed through the Coma,another intermediary South Korean company manager, for the Greater China for LJK over the past year. Lee has become a Pepsi-Cola and the spokesman for McDonald's Greater China and domestic brand of shampoo ads. But only to his job's been done, no penny has been received. Involving an amount is up to eight figures. Director of music in EEG said: We also find it very strange. Because LJK did not take works when we ask through Coma recently. That impacts our operations. Finally LJK's side contacted us if we have paid the money to Coma after coma said that they did not get money from EEG and we know that there are problems in the middle. LJK's side hopes us give his money directly, but we are signing with the coma. so we can not give him the money privately.
