Bahan-bahan

400 g isi ikan Tenggiri atau lain (dibuang kulit & tulang)
100 ml air asam jawa (dari 1 camt asam jawa)
8 biji buah keras
2 cm halia, dicincang halus
3 biji bawang merah, dihiris
1 ulas bawang putih, dicincang
150 g kelapa parut putih
garam
1/2 camca gula
1 camt belacan
2-3 biji lada merah, dicincang
1-2 camt serbuk lada
1 helai daun salam, dimayang
1 helai daun kunyit, dimayang
Daun pisang, dipotong empat segi 20 cm, dilayur
Batang buluh halus sepanjang 30 cm (5-6)

Cara penyediaan

Rebus isi ikan hingga masak, angkat dan hancurkan. Campur dengan semuabahan. Bentukkan daun pisang seperti kon, isikan dengan 2-3 camcacampuran ikan. Bungkus kemas dan cucuk dari bahagian bawah denganbuluh. Untuk setiap batang buluh, cucuk 4-5 bungkus satar. Bakar diatas bara api hingga keperangan (seperti pulut udang).

Masa membakarnya, harus bijak dan api jangan terlalu kuat dikhuatiri daunnya hangus dan menjadikan satar tidak enak.
