kalau ambik kelas SR yang weekend ni boleh bayar monthly tak? yang RM80 sebulan tu...
dulu ada tanya satu SR, dia suruh bayar lumpsum for satu semester...300 lebih gak..huhuhu |

I hantar my kids part time kindy Smart Reader di Sunway Damansara.
Class only 3times a week.
Even less than one month she can speak english very well.Even kat rumah memang we practise english with her but bila dia pergi kindy she can pick up few new words yg jarang kitaorang use with her.
Semua cikgu kat sana very nice ladies and they used psikologi to handle all the kids.This experience I have been share with others parent and they agreed they happy with the progress and cikgu kat situ.
Principal nama dia Sherry.She very nice young lady,soft spoken and very reliable. |

Teacher dia indian ke ? Memang tengah plan ni. Tapi clash dengan class mengaji dia .

If you notice my message above,I sending her to normal class but I ambil part time programme which only 3times a day.
Dia punya principal Malay.Very nice lady.
I tak berapa pasti fasal english programme yg every saturday tu.
May be bila Afida free boleh drop by cuma susah sikit nak dapat parking kat situ.Unless kalau you pergi awal pagi |

hi.....im newbie kt sini. just nk share xperience pasal smart reader.
anak saya x smart reader. penah belajar di 2 buah smart readers b4 this, masa dia umur 5 dan 6. masa 5 yrs hantar anak di Smart Reader Pantai Hill Park n results, my son blh baca story book both in english and BM plus dia pon communicate in english di sekolah n rumah. but bila tukar ke smart reader sg buluh country resorts his communication skill in english dh drop but still can read both english n bm. compared to both SRK rasanya SRK Pantai Hill Park lagi byk aktiviti n ade syllibus tambahan utk ladybird book. may b SRK Pantai Hill Park lebih byk xperience sbb dh lama wujud berbanding SRK sg buloh country resort yg baru setahun jagung last year. i think if u guys nk hantar anak ke smart reader kena check juga which franchisee yg dh berpengalaman.
this year i send my son to SRK Bkt Rahman Putra for his english tuisyen. actually i tknk hantar anak belajar tuisyen2 ni becoz kalau blh nk bg dia enjoy main puas2. but what to do he is the one request for english tuisyen....... |

I send my boys to 2 diff SR centre just becoz my hubby want them to be independent...
Bleh le compare due2 centre nie.....
First: owner backround
whether owner dah kahwin dan mempunyai anak...dari sini kite dpt pastikan guru tu ade sifat keibuan dlm mendidik murid....
personally, i prefer yg dah berkahwin dan mempunyai anak sbb dlm ketegasan die juga ade perasaan sayang dekat anak murid....more matured bile dealing with parents, .....and keranah murid2 yg bertuah...
owner muda mmg kurang professional.....
Second: syllabus
...mmg bagus....suka tgk anak yg 6 tahun tu buat math...siap letak tgn sebelah pipi kalau nak campur...very cute...very effective learning method though...
english...both can communicate in english very well....they even teach their little sister...
eventhough, i agree that SR is a good centre, u also need to evaluate ur child development coz sometime the teacher sucks....i said this coz I had so called bad experience...n i learnt a good lesson...
before this, i thought i can leave SR to teach my eldest son....and it backfired me....
after few mths joining the centre, one day, i asked him to count and read abc....to my surprise, i found out that he forgot most of the numbers and alphabets...( he went to another kindergarten when he was 4 yrs old, i switched to SR as my son was not able to communicate in English but he knows alphabets and numbers already)
i was so frustrated to see his poor progress....with the amt that I paid, but this is what i get in return....and i did not want to switch to another center...
starting from that time, i start to pantau my son ability to count, to recognise alphabet, to read, etc....
i educate myself on SR syllabus and created my own learning plan for my son by applying SR approach and a bit research on available books and teaching methods....
After dinner, i'll ask my son whether he has homework....if he has, I'll just guide him on his homework....if he does not have, I will rotate between flash card game, readings, math exercises, colorings, singing, etc...all this this activities lasted up to 15 mins...
later that yr, during parent n teacher meeting, I was informed that my son teacher was asked to leave the center becoz she did not commit to the center learning objective. All of her students were having the same problem as my son. The owner was incharged this time and giving extra classes to these students in order to catch up with the syllabus.
Alhamdulillah, my son was able to keep up with his extra classes...
Now, I pantau both sons performance and compare on the expected student performance according to age and semester.
If I see they need extra attention, I will detail out each son area of weakness and inform the SR owner.
Alhamdulliah, now I can see good progress for both sons regardless which center they go to. |
