Chelsea to play United on March 1
The postponed Premier League clash between title rivals Chelsea andManchester United has been tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, March 1.
The match was originally set for Stamford Bridge last Sunday but freezingtemperatures and snowfall forced it to be delayed.
The new date - which will still see the match televised live - is subject toneither team being involved in FA Cup fifth-round replay action. If both teamsare out of the competition, they could instead face each other on a Cupweekend.

Birmingham vs Man United Preview
Sir Alex Ferguson expects to have Nani back as Manchester United take their 17-match unbeaten league record to Birmingham.
The Portugal winger missed the Boxing Day win over Sunderland with a hip complaint but is set to come back into a United line-up Ferguson intends to change in order to keep it fresh.
Park Ji-sung has now left for his Asian Cup commitments with South Korea and Paul Scholes (groin) is also out, whilst there are also doubts over John O'Shea (calf) and Darren Fletcher, who was sent home from training on Christmas Day with a heavy cold.
On-loan midfielder Alexander Hleb could feature on Birmingham's bench after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The Barcelona playmaker suffered the knock in the match against Fulham on November 27 and has been able to train with the squad again. He is short of match practice, and manager Alex McLeish has said he will take the decision on whether to include him as late as possible.
Blues have no other new fitness worries. James McFadden is a long-term absentee with a knee injury.

Macheda set for Italy loan move
Federico Macheda's agent claims Manchester United are prepared to allow the striker to return to Italy on loan in January.
The teenager has scored just once in 12 appearances in all competitions this season and has often been linked with a move back to his homeland.
United have previously resisted interest from Serie A, but Macheda's representative Marcello Bonetto says the Premier League leaders are now keen for the 19-year-old striker to gain more first-team experience.
Fiorentina, Juventus, former club Lazio and Parma have all been linked with offers and Bonetto is waiting to see what transpires when the transfer window opens.
"Federico could leave United, that is true, but only on loan," Bonetto told Fiorentina.it.
"The club and Ferguson have absolute faith in Chicco. With the return of Michael Owen, confirmation of Wayne Rooney, plus fine form for Dimitar Berbatov and Hernandez, the space for him in Manchester has been reduced.
"We talked it over and were given the all-clear by Ferguson to go on loan for six months in January to gain experience.
"If we do decide to leave Manchester, then Italy represent the most likely destination.
"Up until now we have not been contacted by anybody, but will only choose a club that can guarantee Federico consistent playing time. That's the only reason for leaving Manchester.
"Fiorentina have not contacted us, but can do whenever they want." |
