Felipe Massa believes it is still unclear what role BMW will play in this year抯 championship battle.

Ferrari expects McLaren to recover

Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali expects McLaren-Mercedes tobounce back in the Spanish Grand Prix, despite the squad's recent poorrun.
McLaren has endured two difficult races in Malaysia and Bahrain,with Heikki Kovalainen's third place at Sepang the team's best resultfrom the period.
The team has now lost the lead in both championships, and lagged behind BMW as well as Ferrari at Sakhir.
That has led to suggestions that BMW - rather than McLaren - willbecome Ferrari's main title rival in 2008, but Domenicali reckons RonDennis' squad will come back fighting.
        "The others will not sleep," Domenicali said."I'm expecting McLaren to be back again and up to standard in Barcelona.
"So what we have to do is work very hard and keep our feet on the ground."
He added that he currently sees BMW and McLaren as equally strong rivals.
"Right now, I have to say that we expect (the opposition) to be bothMcLaren and BMW because we must not over-react to anything," Domenicalisaid.
"The points show that BMW is in front of us in the constructors'championship, and in the drivers' championship they are behind Kimi(Raikkonen) so they are all there, but I am expecting McLaren to beback on the pace again very soon."
Domenicali believes the championship is only just taking shape.
"I always said that it would be a very long championship, very long," he said.
"It is a classification than is closer to soccer than an F1 season - we are three teams covered by two points.
"We must not lose concentration, we need to keep up the pace in terms of reliability and performance.
"That's the reason why we want to bring something new to every race.
"I'm pretty sure (McLaren and BMW) are flat out, trying to do whatthey can, because the championship is open, we are still in only thefirst part."
