Lee Seung Gi, Comeback Stage 3 Weeks After Album Release? “Expected to be around November 11″
after releasing his full-length 5th album ‘Tonight’ on October 27, Lee Seung Gi’s comeback stage is expected to be postponed for another week.
Due to the KBS ‘Happy Sunday – 1 Night 2 Days’ recording schedule this week, it is difficult to arrange for appearances on music programs during the weekend.
A person related to Lee Seung Gi told OSEN in a phone conversation that “hopefully the comeback stage will take place on November 11, but it’s not confirmed yet.” Mnet MCountdown is on November 10, but due to the SBS ‘Strong Heart’ recording, the earliest Lee Seung Gi can appear on a music program is expected to be November 11.
This is definitely different from singers in general. Under ordinary circumstances, album release, press conference, and comeback stage all take place within 2 to 3 days for the maximum promotional effect. But it will be already 3 weeks after his album release when Lee Seung Gi appears on his comeback stage. As the ‘entertainment blue-chip’, it’s not easy for him to juggle his regularly scheduled variety programs and music activities at the same time.
The problem is whether or not his title song ‘Aren’t We Friends’ can maintain high ranks on music charts until the 11th to get people’s attention. Recently, a song’s lifespan has evidently decreased. Reaction to songs released 2 weeks ago is already worrisome, so it’s quite unusual to have a comeback stage 3 weeks after an album release.
The person related to Lee Seung Gi said, “Looking at the charts, it’s fortunate that ‘Aren’t We Friends’ has received love consistently, and the other songs included in the album are equally well-loved. In particular, the fact that ‘musician Lee Seung Gi’, receiving favorable review for his self-composed songs, is appealing has also been gratifying. Even though the comeback stage is not confirmed yet, there will be a separate stage version of the early-release song ‘Time for Love’ in order to show an unconventional stage. Please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, fully anticipating the ‘promotion vacuum’ due to his variety schedule, Lee Seung Gi has adopted a special promotional method with ’5-minute Music Broadcast’. Having produced a few 5-minute long promotional videos, he plans to meet with fans through randomly scheduled broadcasts on Mnet starting on November 1 and various other guerrilla promotional methods.

Actor Uhm Tae Woong has revealed that he is attracted to actress Soo Ae.
On the November 1st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, he opened up in regards to recent attention toward his ambiguous relationship with the actress.
“I feel really bad that the scandal broke out. Soo Ae and I are actually close colleagues… we live in the same neighborhood, so we eat together if we haven’t eaten, and we discuss our latest projects,” he said.
“And she’s pretty“, he managed to bashfully add.
MC Lee Soo Geun then followed up with a question. “Why don’t you ask her out?”, to which the actor responded, “We have built a close friendship over the years. And then when we both are in relationships, we refrain from spending time together. She’s a pretty girl, so of course I’m attracted to her, but she’s a sweet, and a good friend of mine.”
The MCs then began teasing the actor, claiming that this was a one-sided love story.
