masa aku kat semporna ari tu, aku makan kat seafest dalam 11+ hengget sorang. kitorang makan dalam 8 orang = 90 hengget. pada aku murah ler .. sebab biasa nye aku makan cam tu gaya nye sure dalam sorang 25 hengget dah

Hehehehe....bg korang yg dah biasa mkn mhl2 kat KL tu, mungkin rs mknan kat cni murah. Tapi bagi org kmpg yg mcm east ni, dah kira mhl dah mkn kat restoran kat cni lebih suka masak sendiri jek.

Kalo kat seafest, east suka mkn CBA, best!! Tapi lama dah x gi mkn citu

Auntie sekeluarga bercadang nak pegi cuti ke Sipadan pada 8/6/09. Anak-anak (2 org) bercadang nak ambik diving licence kat PJ (2 hari) and continue 2 hari lagi di Sipadan.

Soalannya:
1. Sempat tak nak pegi ke sana kalau Auntie baru nak buat preparation sekarang ni?
2. Adakah anak-anak saya dah di consider sebagai divers?
3. Boleh ke hubby dan auntie pergi snorkelling sementara anak-anak pergi diving? Charges nye same atau pun berlainan?

Hubby buat few enquiries over the phone dengan beberapa tour operators. Cara hubby I cerita mcm susah nak dapat permit. Kesian kat anak-anak sbb diaorang dah excited nak dapatkan diving licence.

Ada apa-apa advice/tips yang berguna....Thank you in advance.

erm..patutnye kene book advance for sipadan..they dont accept last min deal..bcoz people are queing for it..
klu auntie baca dlm ni pun..cuba selak dulu page by page..at least 6months before going there kne book permit..

anyway, semua yang masuk sipadan kena ada permit. snorkeler ke diverke. and permit tu berbayar. 40 hengget. some resorts akan absorb dalamdia nye package some don't. kalau u dah book dengan resort tu make surethey get u a permit to enter sipadan. during peak season.. (usuallymasa december la.. coz apparently the mat sallehs and the japs sukapegi sipadan nih, plus divers yang ketandusan tempat nak dive sebab katpantai timur off season.. plus those divers  yang terlebih banyak cuti,depa suka cuti kat sini) anyway during peak season, makin susah la nakdapat permit ni.

some dive operators/chalets/dive centers, memang ada quota masing2untuk permit masuk sipadan. some tak de. so yang tak de ni, akanmenumpang yang ada. jadi nak kena book awal.. some as early as 6months. so sapa2 yang nak pegi snorkel tu sometimes susah la nakdapat.. most dive centers/operators akan kata full sebab divers mmg adaajeee yang mari.

permit tu dikeluarkan oleh sabah parks. sebab sipadan tu protected.kalau tak dilimitkan mmg sipadan menuju kehancuran la.. setakat yangaku tengok mmg sipadan dah tak baper cung.. aku seronok dive kat mabullagi. sebab byk sangat dah boleh tengok kat mabul, fish & creatureswise la. yang best nye sipadan diving ni, is the blue sea on one hand,and wall on the other. sharks manyak, turtles manyak, can see school offish.. jacks/trevallies, barracudas.., ada turtle tomb, scary for me..sebab gelap giler..aku dok terbayang ada ikan besar tengah ngangatunggu aku masuk je kat mulut gua tu ..

depends on your luck really. you may get a space on those dates you mentioned. your kids won't be completing their course at sipadan. but will do it at mabul/kapalai.. where it's shallow. a day trip to sipadan maybe available. but still you really have to check with the operators. who knows you might be lucky. it's best if you contact bigger resorts which are given permits by Sabah Parksrather than those yang menumpang.. e.g. Sipadan WAter Village, Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resorts, etc

instead of asking here, you may find better luck by contacting the resorts or their agents

not yet lah.. they'll only be certified divers after completing their course.

yes of course you may go snorkeling while ur kids go diving.. charges will be a bit less. but not much less.

memang susah nak dapat permit. as fatt already copied and pasted my post earlier, sekarang people book as early as 6 months. so the later you book, the thinner your chances. sebab # of visitors to sipadan dah limit to 150 per day. visitors ni include the dive master, the divers and snorkelers.. so mm sangat sangat lah limited nya..

and you won't be able to dive in sipadan during course. it's a no no. sipadan is deep. so they'll only allow certified divers. used to open to only advanced divers tapi nowadays people tak kisah, as long as they've logged enough dives and have good buoyancy performance as observed by the attending Dive Master. so students are not allowed. i hope i've answered enough. ada apa2.. feel free to ask.

Thanks a lot for all the explanation given. The info given is very informative and useful.  Nampaknya auntie has to put on hold the idea of Sipadan vacation.

Sedih jugak tak dapat nak pegi Sipadan ni - maklumlah pulau kat negeri sendiri.

2 tahun lepas, auntie ngan hubby pegi snorkelling kat Phuket dgn a team of divers. Ada one Japanese couple tanye mengapa tak pegi snorkelling kat Sipadan Island - dia cakap lagi best...

Kalau nak tunggu 6 months lagi, nampak gaya, my daughter will not be able to join ler. Dia yg bersungguh-sungguh nak diving. Sian kat dia.... Dah takde rezeki.

auntie dah try tanya ke belum? mana tau ada last minute cancellation. it's worth the try.
but for your daughter to dive at sipadan while doing her course memang spatut nye tak boleh lah. kalau dah habis then she goes to sipadan. that's different story. usually penuh masa weekend. try la. kalau2 weekdays boleh dapat ke?

ur daughter so lucky coz ada parents sporting mcm ni..bestnye dpt sponsor diving..hehe
erm, klu autie nak try pulau lain pun bole..coral pun rasanya cantik mcm sipadan..but of cos takleh challenge sipadan..hehe
dah cuba dgn perhentian or redang?

saya pun lambat lagi nak ke sipadan..bulan 4 thn depan..
tapi dr skrg dah nak prepare everything..takut tak dapat..huhu
