i pernah pegi bali few months ago...before bombing yg latest tu.
To me, kalau u nak betul2 honeymoon, better pegi Nusa Dua or Lombok. Nusa Dua, banyak hotel2 besar & di sepanjang pantai banyak menyediakan outdoor activities. Nak snorkelling ke...mcm2 lah ada. Dan pantainya pun cantik. Tapi crowded gak la.
Lombok, tempat ni secluded sikit. Tapi pantainya bersih, masih belum tercemar. Memang relax habis kalau pegi sini. Kesuma tak sampai lagi kat sini, tapi my abg ipar yg biasa ke Bali setiap tahun cakap, Lombok ni diibaratkan keadaan Bali di zaman dulu sebelum kehadiran pelancong2 ke sana.

Last trip, kesuma ke Ubud. Pun best jugak untuk sesiapa yg tak suka tempat crowded. Ubud ni kawasan bukit, banyak padi teres/bukit ditanam di sepanjang jalan. Pemandangan cantik sangat. Then, kesuma ke Kuta 1 malam aje. My opinion, Kuta is too crowded. Pantainya pun dah tak bersih. Nak makan, kami makan aje kat hotel. Ok gak la...& tak mahal sangat.

Nak makan restoran yg halal, agak susah sikit sebab kebanyakan kedai kepunyaan orang Hindu. Senang, pegi aje Restoran Padang. Lauk pauk lebih kurang macam kita jugak & yg penting halal.

URGENT

Aku baru baca sampai page 3.

Pada hari ke-2, Aku cadang nak pergi Kintamani pastu Tanah Lot. Sempat ke aku singgah Besakih kejap pasal teringin gak nak pergi situ?

OK ni plan aku.

Day 1:
1425 Tiba di Ngurah Rai
1515 Check in kat Kuta (tak decide hotel lagi, boleh recommend?)

Day 2
Tak firmly decide lagi. Appreciate your recommendation.

Day 3
Tak firmly decide gak. Maybe just visiting around Kuta.
Flight balik pukul 1355

Mas, Ubud, Sukawati, Batubulan dan area2 situ kalau I tak pergi, nanti menyesal ke?

Sesiapa pernah pergi Bali tolonglah reply cepat2. Flight nak bertolak dah tapi tgh tunggu I ni!!!!!!!!!! Hehe. Tolong ye.

Nak buat massage lagi. Hehe. Tapi aku mmg bercadang utk melihat sunset setiap hari.

225,000-250,000 rupiah seems reasonably cheap to me after reading gabanzack's 400,000 rupiah story.

Shahgti & Gabanzack,

Harap kau tak kisah kalau aku tulis byk kat sini. Just nak tanya semua forumners kat sini.

1. Pukul berapa sesuai utk pergi ke Tanah Lot? Aku baca kena pergi time air surut baru best. Pukul berapa tu?
2. Masih lagi keliru kat mana paling sesuai nak tukar matawang.

Oh coz most japanesse girl prefer to travels alone or female only grps. You need to understand body language also, most japs girls couldn't speak English or bahasa so we do have the advantages to be their pesonal tour guides.Their favs hangout at Kuta is at Poppies lane 2 or you can travel up to Ubud to search for one. .

Hear! Hear! Hear!

But then I would think supirs have THE most advantage! LOL.

Hello guys.

Just went back from Bali. So I am dropping here to say that it is a very nice place to be. My stay was very short i.e. 3D/2N and if money is not an objection then I would have stayed longer.

Now, if you started to lose faith in arrogant attitude, then this is the place to be. You will be meeting with the nicest people in the world, if not South East Asia. And I dont think I exaggerate when telling you that (Even though I probably need to have a trip to Thailand to confirm this myself). Even the most crooked-looking guy is actually a nice and humble individual. OK, I should not judge my supir (tourist guide) by his look in the first place. But if he is a Malaysian, you don't want to mess with him allright. (BTW Shahgti, he's not Nyoman)

The moment I stepped out of the KL Sentral, how I missed their hospitality!!!!! The damn (excuse my un-Balinese languange) mat rempit should have stopped when he saw a group of people crossing the road. This would not happen in Bali. The drivers are very polite there on the road. I never heard my supir cursing or complaining on anything. If there's heavy smoke coming from a bus, he would have just laugh as if it is a funny thing. But here in Malaysia, a taxi driver would passed nasty comments on where you want to go and everything! Huh.

I miss Bali.

And I dont think I can sleep tonight.

Their girls' smiles would melt your heart. Not the most physically beautiful people in the world but definitely the most polite, sweetest and everyone's dreams - as far as manners and hospitality are concerned. They just cannot stop on smiling whenever you have any conversation with them. Even you bargained and pressed for the lowest price, they would continue to smile. I regret to walk away without saying anything from a shop after I could not bargained for a lower price. I realized that it is so rude, it is so un-Balinese. Bali is not Petaling Street, you need to know that.  The uncultured ah bengs will curse you if you don't buy their goods after asking for the price. And they will kill you if you do that after negotiated the price (OK, that's exaggerating). The Balinese, even if they don't smile, I know they do so in their heart. Their inner beauty and gentle characteristic can easily be recognized through their facial expression. To be fair to the ladies, the Balinese men are sweet too. As I mentioned earlier, even the most crooked-looking guy is actually a nice person.

It is 2.00am now and I tried to get some sleep after the three hours flight. But how could I? My memory keeps on thinking the Balinese hospitality which is in a very sharp contrast to my fellow Malaysians.
