Naza sasar kereta 100% buatan sendiri
KUALA LUMPUR 17 Feb.

Naza upgrades staff skills with Motorola University
The Naza Group of Companies wants to move from being a family owned institution of management to that of an organization of 23 companies adhering to a multinational organization culture of focusing on improvements.
The latest in a series of steps taken is an effort to Upgrades its human resources or staff - a signing with Motorola University, where 1,000 of the Naza Groups employees will be trained and developed to improve their skills focusing on increasing productivity and revenue. The training will be provided by Motorola University based on programs that Motorola has developed on the way of becoming a Fortune 500 company.
Naza will offer these programs to employees of all 23 Naza companies under SM Faisal, which will include leadership development, lean manufacturing, customer driven total solutions and the Motorola Six Sigma Program series.
There are many big companies who are actually family-owned but are managed and run by trained professionals. One example very close to Naza is the BMW group, which has been majority (about 46%) owned by the Quandt family since the 50s. It is a proven formula that works.

Aku pakai citra dah 4 tahun..So far Alhamdulillah ok..berkhidmat dgn cemerlang

Naza to assemble ASEAN Peugeot 207 Sedan in Gurun from October 2010
Peugeot and Naza signed an MoU for the assembly of the Peugeot 207 Sedan in Paris today. Naza’s plant in Gurun will be the production hub for the 207 Sedan for the ASEAN region from October 2010 onwards. For now, the Gurun plant will be the only right hand drive 207 Sedan assembler in the world. A production of 18,000 units a year is planned.
The 207 Sedan is essentially an updated 206 Sedan based on the 206 chassis. Previous stories revealed that it will be offered with a 1.6 liter engine, which is up from the 1.4 liter found in the Naza 206 Bestari.
The project is referred to internally by Naza as the T33 Project. Naza is the current franchise holder for Peugeot here in Malaysia under its company Nasim Sdn Bhd. They’ve made a name for offering excellent value for money pricing for locally assembled cars such as the 308 and the 407, something that is really unusual with Continental makes here in Malaysia.
Ever since taking over the Peugeot franchise, Peugeot sales in Malaysia have risen from 748 units for the whole of 2008 to the current figure of 2758 units as of August 2009.

Naza to assemble another Peugeot model locally
By CHOI TUCK WO
PARIS: Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd will produce a new entry level Peugeot car, codenamed T33, for the Malaysian and export markets next year.
Its joint group executive chairman S.M. Nasaruddin S.M. Nasimuddin said Malaysia would be the only country to produce the right-hand-drive model.
He added that the T33 would be launched in Malaysia in the third quarter of next year and production would begin a month or two before that.
“We’re looking at producing 6,000 units in the first year for the local market,” he told Malaysian journalists after a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony between himself and Automobiles Peugeot president Jean-Marc Gales here on Wednesday.
The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who was on a working visit to France.
The T33 model will be assembled at Naza’s Gurun plant in Kedah that has a capacity to produce 55,000 units annually.
Positioned as an entry level Peugeot, the T33 will join the nine existing Peugeot variants currently available in Malaysia. It is seen as a first step towards an increased Peugeot presence in Asean, using Malaysia as its base.
Nasaruddin said the price had not been finalised but it would be appealing to Malaysians wanting to buy a continental car in a particular segment.
He said there was still a lot of buying power in Malaysia despite the economic recession, with the people “spending money on the right products at the right time.”
In fact, he said, sales of Peugeot cars in Malaysia rose from 748 units last year to 2,758 as of August this year, a jump of 300%.
“We hope to close the year with 4,000 sales,” he said, adding that Naza expected the T33 model to contribute to even higher sales in the third quarter of next year and beyond.
Nasaruddin also said Naza was currently in talks with Peugeot to develop another model in Malaysia, six months after the launch of the T33.
