1 tin susu pekat (emma..tin kecik tu tau)
1 tin air (gunakan tin susu tu)
2-3 sudu tepung kastad
vanila/daun pandan
secubit garam

chem..teja pernah kukus puding caramel dlm container plastik..ok jek..tp cara buat caramel tu kena ubah skit..kena masokkan air masa cairkan gula  so caramel tu takkan beku sgt bila sejuk..kl buat caramel x boh air nnt lom apa2 dah beku...susah nak transferkan ke container plastik tu

teja, chem buat caramel air + gula dan masak creme caramel ni dalam oven, belum lagi cuba yang kukus....

haah shida buat caramel pun taruk air. so tak pernah lagi caramel tu keras atau tak berair. pernah buat karamel terkurang air, puding tak cantik. caramel tak fully mencair.

sut penah kukus dan steam bake...
pada sut yang steam bake dia nyer caramel lagi halus teksturnya...
cuma lambat la sket nak masak...

ooo.. kena masuk air.. patut le saya punya karamel kering kontang je..

sut,kl steam bake boh air panas terus ekk..agak2 brp lama?kl teja guna api bawah je dulu rasanya ok tak?

kl rajin ptg ni pi carik pisang..buat banana cream caramel..

ada 2 cara

1.masak gula dulu sampai golden..then baru masokkan air..hati2 masa masokkan air sbb loyang panas..nnt mercik ke tgn/muka lak

2.masakkan terus air+gula..air jgn byk sgt..nnt caramel dia tak pekat n lambat hangus

kukus - masuk loyang lm pengukus --> taruk atas dapur

steam bake - letak loyang atas dulang -->boh air panas dlm dulang-->masuk lm oven

ini yang pernah chem buat, guarantee menjadi ;) ...ada dalam index

Caramel
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Place sugar and water in medium pan.  Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.  Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 - 10 mins or until mixture turns caramel.  Remove from heat.  Pour a little hot mixture over base of prepared dishes and swirl to cover base.


boleh juga yang ini....

3/4 cup (165g) caster sugar
3/4 cup (180ml) water

Combine sugar and water without boiling, until sugar is dissolved.  Boil, uncovered, without stirring, about 5 mins or until sugar is golden brown.  Pour syrup into 20cm round cake pan.
