Ah..
Salam..finally adalah sedikit masa dok upload gegambor..
Acctually,dok fikir jugaklah camne nak update kat Forum ni,so it would be beneficial to those yang nak pergi sana.
**not so much gambar,sbb ada forumer encik Transporter dah tepek,dan boleh di google..wahahah)
So,sy akan selitkan sikit-sikit info berguna,esp pada yang nak pergi ke sana secara sendiri ke sana,yang pada saya,tidak susah mana sebab public transport ( i am refering to train ,dan bus inter-town ) adalah reliable.
Taxi..well...ada 2 jenis..short distance =petit taxi..long distance /rent = grand taxi ....
For petit cab....I found it,in Fes ,driver obligue pakai meter if you ask/remind them,but in Marrakech,sakit ati ah..asyik kena jer,gigih nak kena tawar menawar( i am refering to petit taxi ..small cab ).But overall, oklah..nak ke sana sini no hal...
**petit taxi in Fes = color merah
Petit taxi in Marrakech = color kuning cair
** i did a mistake because i didn't know,smpi jer ke Marrakech,i was looking high and low for red color petit taxi,but no where to be seen,end up tertipu naik grand cab to Djma El Fna ..wahahha..pengajaran.Lesson learnt...tapi tuhla..dtg pon kali pertama..so....hehhheee....gamble here and there tu tetap ada..
Kalau masa anda banyak,naik jer local bus ,and people there are helpful.esp if they know you muslim,terus mcm click gituk.oklahh...

Gurun Sahara ..yg aku pernah dengar or baca dlm buku text masa kekecik dulu....
Hik hik..masa unta tu nak bangun..seramm makk...setengah mati aku pegang besi pemegang tu..pas tuh ok dah la.....
Nanti saya cerita/give info how to get a tour so it will be usefull to forumer,base of my own experience.. ..i mean a tour to desert ..its a unique experience,atleast to me ....once a life time..and,i would do it again !!!!

Overall, I enjoyed my stay there.
I was a bit nervous,because my japanese colleageu who went there a couple years back mentioned to me that,Morocco was the most regretfull country she ever been,everyone is like trying to take her money away from her ..and she has travel more than half a globe !
Cuak jugak.
But the fact that,when i did my so called "research"( i use LP alot,asking to folks who have been there ) ,I don't see any pick pocket thingy,i don't see any comment on crime rate etc,that already make me relief..itu yg penting sbb,kalau tidak,kena take extra precaution.(like when u are in rome,or any latino country ).
overall,I am happy with the this trip.
I stayed at the Riad ,who treat us like a family..sometimes we have meal together with the Riad people.,sometimes with other traveller too,we shared bread or couscous over tagine ( makanan they all ni banyak nya Tagine ..with chicken, kefta, fish..olive etc....depends.but with many veggie which i like !..) while sharing our travelling story ..in morocco,or outside morocco..

so co comfy !!!!
The best local style breakfast I had in the Riad in Fes ....on the terrace with pnoramic view ..this Riad is in the Medina..convinient location.

**later,I will put the details on Riad,contact etc...MOD,ya ampun,if di izinkan,sy akan letak..bukan iklan tau..bukan apa,when I was planning going there,I don't have much info esp dari Malaysian yg dah ke sana pasal temat tinggal...local tour etc..,( I was looking for a reliable place with of course affordable price $$$$) so end up I google all the time, and decide base in tripadvisor review etc,which maybe a daunting task for someone,to gamble..so,kalau di izinkan,saya akan letak base on my experience on contact person,detaily...as an option for traveller to consider..

Itula nikmat berjalan di negara ramai Muslim, senang nk mentekadarah (kasor sikit bahasa ni  )... esp makan ramai2 terasa muhibbah nye, hehehe,
Psl mkn tu, meja akak pakai tu besor, masa kat Algeria, meja yg kami guna kecik muat2 letak cawan dgn dulang lauk saje, roti sorok kat bawah meja (smbl bersila) ..

OK Hammam...
I spent many days there,but too busy :-) :-)
Nyesal nyahhhh cuma sempat pergi Hammam sekali jer...
(masa hari ni pergi 2nd time tu.i wasn't feeling well..)
( i saw Moroccon bath in Dubai,...err..Hamman ker tuh?)
Ini Hamman yang I pergi tuh..di Fes..
Hehehee..takyah bayangkan yg posh posh nyahhhhhh....wakakakkaa....
Very local gituk...yg dok ada dlm tuh pon warga tempatan gituk..
entrance nyer aja..
takleh ler nak ambik gambar di dalam..wahahhaa......
pagi sampai 1.30PM = for guys
2.30 PM onwards = for girls
bayaran...kalau ikut kan kata local ..entrance dlm MAD10 ..plus bayaran kepada si penggosok dalam MAD50 ...tapi aku bayar lebih,sbb soh dia belikan sabon..kain kasa bagai untuk scrubbb etc....seronok gak ikut dia pi beli belah bebahan hammam ni...ehehhee..masuk lorong2x kedai....

Baru fikir nak ke Morocco again this April dan kali ni do Algeria sekali..tapi dah ada adegan culik menculik jadik tebusan lah plak kat Algeria..

Professional Tour Guide
Di Fes ,Medina dia besarrrrrrrrrr, with ~ 9000 alleys !!Macam maze dalam tuh seriously..
Dlm tuh banyakkk historical place, shopping ,cooperative( kilang+show room+kedai ),tenneries , masjid..rumah..sekolah..kedai....dan banaykkk lagik..termasuklah University tertua di dunia ..
Kalau tak nak guide takper,anda bleh jalan sendrik...tapi,sesat barat u ols dlm tuh....koser kan..sbb i tak banyak masa gituk..
Macam sy,sy ambik guide,he can explain macam2x which sometimes not in the text book that you read(if you read).
Satu lagik,dia akan bawa kita masuk bangunan yg kdg2x ( I am not sure,but if I were to walk alone,I won't knwo what is on my right/left,sbb pintu bangunan semua nampak lebih kurang sama..bila dah masuk baru tahu itu istana lah..masjid la..sekolah lah...library lah..) kalau takde guide,susah nak dpt masuk /u won't realise/tak tahu macam mana nak masuk..
contohnya, University of Al-Karaouine which now serve as a mosque.
so..mahal ker nak amik guide nih?
rate dia standard ,as of now..rega nya,,
1/2 day = 150MAD
1 day = 250MAD
Mana I jumpa dia ni?
I asked the Riad that I need a professional guide.So, he help me arrange it.
( I did my own study on my pricing etc ,dan ternyata dia honest ,takde tipu-tipu ..so oklah...alhamdullilah..)
Kalau ikut pengalaman saya, sy tgk ramai tourist lain pon buat gituh,ask from the Riad, and they are more than happy to assist tp arrange it..
Kalau dlm keretapi..kat stesen keretapi ada ornag approach ckp dia professional guide etc,sila abaikan..90% ,you will endup paying hefty ammount + dia bawak you pergi kedai sedara mara adik beradik bagai ,jadik shopping trip,and nak lepaskan diri susah wo....
Ini guide I... thehehhehe..
I was lucky.He was a professor ( iyer ker?katanyalah...)..anyway ..anglish dia bagus..explanation panjang lebarr.....detail,penuh fakta sejarah..
dan dia terangkan segala simbol,batu lah..haper jerlah sepanjang yg kami temui,fungsi2x certain things dlm/luar bangunan etc..

Architecture dalam University of Al-Karaouine ( now serve as mosque ) ..masya'allah....cantik sgt ..kagum berada di dalam tu..
sejukkkk jer..( masuk dlm ni ,sedekahlah dlm 20MAD ker...) ..haluss senibina nya..
BTW, Fes ini di kenali sebagai bandar ilmu..bandar art ,bandar gastronomy ,dan pernah menjadi ibu kota Morocco yg pertama..
Kat sana,banyak fine art,kalau pergi kedai pon hasil ukiran nya halussssss.....
Ramai penggiat seni di sana, dan ramai jugak penggiat seni yg bekerja di luar negara termasuk Malaysia, dok bina masjid bagai..banyak bangunan dengan gaya pengaruh Moorish architecture.. Last edited by nurabella on 22-1-2013 08:05 AM

berjalan-jalan ambik angin waktu malam....safe tauuu kat sana memalam pong...... (Fes)

Ini fish tajine,...hmm...my friend org sana bawak pergi jalan jauh sikit dari medina (naik petit cab)..
verdict?..sedap tu sedap..tapi tajine kafta,lagik i suka....they are selling also sotong rings,ikan goreng tepung bagai tu...yummmms!!
roti tuh,aku malas nak layan,cepat kenyang,tapi my fren tuh ngap!ngap! ngap!and they ols ni suka makan olive..aku plak suka salad yg tomato mix bagai tuh...refreshingg....
