KANG HA NEUL TO PORTRAY AUTISTIC CHARACTER ON “TWO WEEKS”
A lot of Monstar fans were surprised to see a photo of Kang Ha Neul in the first episode of Lee Jun Ki’s Two Weeks. Why? Because there hadn’t been a single news article about his appearance on the show. It’s not uncommon for unknown actors to debut in dramas via photo only (I think Kang Ji Hwan had such a debut) but since the success of Monstar and his casting on The Heirs 상속자들, he’s kind of too big to simply be a photo.
So it’s been announced that he will make a short but strong cameo on the show as the evil witch/politician Jo Seo Hee’s autistic son, Kim Sung Hoon. The last we heard, he was in Chicago. And while his isn’t a big role, given the success of Good Doctor, I bet his performance will be compared to that of Joo Won’s. Good luck, Kiddo.
I’ve been enjoying Two Weeks but it looks like now I get to fangirl as well. Yes, this is a serious story of an unfortunate man fighting for his life to save the life of the daughter he didn’t even know he had but if they don’t want me to fangirl, they shouldn’t have cast Lee Jun Ki, Ryu Soo Young, Song Jae Rim (ooh la la) and now Kang Ha Neul. So there.
Two Weeks airs on the Wed/Thur slot on MBC.
