Baru join. Selama ni SR je kat threads lain. Tapi thread ni mengundang sangat. Belum khatam lagi thread ni. Malam nanti bila dah free baru nak baca satu2.
Just nak share. Umur I 41. Anak 4 orang. Tinggi 165cm. Lepas raya tahun lepas I start buat yoga (join class). Mula2 ambik feel je dulu. Buat dlm 2-3x seminggu. Masuk bulan ke-3, dah pergi almost every weekday. Sambil tu makan dah abit conscious sikit walaupun takde lah jaga beria. Cuma control sugar intake and conscious dgn apa yg kita makan. I sweet tooth so mmg seksa nak jaga sugar intake. So layankan cravings setakat seminggu sekali (walaupun kdg2 terlajak gak).
Lepas raya, berat I 65-66kg. Skrg ni lepas 8 bln beryoga, berat I 60kg (kdg2 turun 59kg). Kakak urut pun tegur kat badan dah kecut. Dah boleh pakai jeans lama balik saiz UK12 and US8. I ada pear shaped body. Hip memang besar. Seksa gila nak turunkan lelemaks kat situ. I have to admit the only way yg boleh buat utk buang lemak degil tu is thru cardio and also strict protein diet tapi ahkak takuaadddd I’m happy with my current health regime. I know kalau I semangat lebih sikit nak diet, boleh je turun lagi lemak kat perut yg dah kena cser 3x tu. |

Sambung dari tadi...
Just nak bgtau, sejak bulan 12 haritu, berkat kerajinan pi yoga, I dah boleh buat headstand walaupun perlu bantuan dinding. Memang banggalah boleh buat headstand dah at the age of 41 hehe never thought I would be able to do that... mula2 tu cikgu kena tolong angkatkan kaki. Tapi lama2 dah boleh angkat kaki sendiri. Bila I tunjuk video kejayaan buat headstand kat anak2, diorg kagum gila hahahaha poses lain yg complicated masih tak nampak jalannya tapi cikgu I kata takpe... slow and steady hehe |

I was like you zaman anak dara dulu. Memang keding gila. Makan mmg banyak tapi badan tak naik. Kalau org tegur ada double chin iols happy giler hahaha Bayangkan masa I kat uni, berat ni 44-45kg je dengan tinggi 165cm. Sampaikan sengaja timbang berat lepas makan sbb nak tgk jarum scale tu naik hahaha tapiiiii lepas beranak... hahhaha tak dapek den nak nolong bila umur masuk 30 je my metabolism drastically turun sbb tak exercise langsung. Dok sibuk kerja. Makan tak pernah control sbb ingat badan mcm dulu susah naik. In my case, berat I naik sejak pregnant and bersalin. |

Hehehe segan. Tapi tak nampak sangat beza pun before and after cuma tang muka la sbb muka jenis chubby. Lagipun suka pakai baju loose. |

I think the best way to lose weight the healthy way is to change our mindset.
Tukar daripada aim nak kurus, kepada aim nak sihat.
Bukan apa, I dah masuk 4 series. Kawan2 banyak yg ada hypertension lah diabetes lah gout lah... ada schoolmate sama batch yg dah meninggal pun sbb heart attack (lelaki).
Memang wakeup call utk semua la. One by one kami semua target nak mulakan hidup sihat. Bila sorg start, ramai je yg berjangkit motivated nak start jugak. Group whatsapp sekolah kitorg mmg selalulah update menu sihatlah exercise routinelah...
Sebab kalau kita aim nak kurus, once dah achieve our target weight, mesti kita stop kan. Tapi kalau kita target nak sihat, kita akan jadikan sihat tu lifestyle kita. Memang lah ada je terbabas sana sini tapi at least kita conscious dengan apa kita buat.
Once you reach 40 kan, your perception of life pun bertukar tau. Based on my experience lah. Dah tak kejar sangat career sbb tak terkejar. Kita jadi lebih bersyukur dengan apa yg ada. Appreciate life.
Dalam Quran (surah al-Ahqaf ayat 15) pun ada doa bila kita masuk umur 40:
“And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful & kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship. And she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him and the weaning of him is thirty months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims.”
Ini pengalaman akak la ya. Just sharing. Mcm2 ujian akan dtg.
So, yg penting kita tukar mindset dulu. InshaAllah kurus akan dtg bila kita amalkan healthy lifestyle. Actually weightloss tak penting pun. Yang penting inchloss. Kan? |

From my readings, I recently found out antara matcha and green tea, matcha is better. Dengan syarat kena cari pure matcha la. Better from Japan. I found out from this one local website yg memang jual matcha and greentea from Japan. Interesting findings la. Sblm ni tak brp suka sgt rasa matcha. Rupanya matcha yg rasa pahit tu sbnrnya low grade matcha.
ACV is a must have in my kitchen. Minum pagi sblm breakfast. I also take MCT Oil (dari coconut oil) instead of ambik VCO. Lepas tu I minum various types of tea. Kan rumah ada rose buds tea, sanna tea (beli kat kedai arab), chinese tea, green tea and I’m waiting for my matcha to arrive in the mail. I also have organic ginger powder from Sabah utk buat ginger tea. Katanya better than halia Bentong. Wallahualam. Boleh je guna halia biasa kan. Hehe
Raw honey pun wajib ada kat rumah ni. I guna madu tualang asli.
Dalam 2-3 bulan kebelakangan ni slowly I tukar white sugar to coconut sugar (boleh beli dekat bahagian organik dekat supermarket) atau gula kabung/enau asli dlm masakan or minuman I. Slowly la. Stok gula putih masih ada kat rumah ni sbb my in laws still guna. Coconut sugar or palm sugar ada low GI unlike refined white sugar. Tapi selalunya I minum teh kosong je. Kopi dah jarang minum. Jadi social coffee drinker je bila kengkawan ajak mengopi sbb sejak dah matang ni (tak nak ngaku tua hahaha) badan dah tak brp nak terima kopi. Btw, with regards to coffee, kalau korang peminum kopi tegar, kalau boleh avoid la kopi kampung yg dah siap blend tu. Sebab kalau baca ingredients, kilang dah masukkan gula pun dlm kopi tu. Diorg goreng biji kopi dgn margerine and add sugar. So walaupun korg tak letak gula dalam kopi, gula dah sememangnya ada dlm tu. Kenalah beli biji kopi and grind sendiri or beli pure coffee powder - kena baca ingredients list.
Semua ni I tukar gradually. Bukan mendadak. Like I mentioned before, my diet masih biasa je. Still makan goreng2, makan manis cuma beza tak melantak mcm dulu la. Bila masak masih gunakan kicap dan segala jenis sos. Tapi berpada2 hehe
To me, better makan nasi drp makan mi atau roti sbb mi and roti tu dah processed. Meaning dah dicampur bahan2 lain mcm garam and gula and what not. Nasi masih nasi unless kita buat nasi goreng ke nasi lemak ke hehe cuma pilih beras kurang kanji la kalau betul2 nak sihat. Kat rumah ni pakai beras biasa je.
Walaupun kita ambik herbs and natural food sebagai supplement, kena check jugak sama ada sesuai ke tak dgn kesihatan badan. Contoh, orang sakit buah pinggang tak boleh makan kurma berlebihan atau tak boleh makan langsung sbb kandungan potassium dalam kurma tinggi. We have to know our body.
And I’m still struggling with sugar huwaaaa!!!! Susah bila dah dilahirkan sbg sweet tooth ni |

I buat AIP/Paleo diet. First month turun 7kg. Ok laaaa.. boleh laaa.. semoga turun lagi berguni guni lemak badan. Sesiapa yang ada penyakit auto immune, boleh lah try diet Auto Immune Protocol. Google je k. |

What is matcha? Macha kedai mamak i tau la. Macha, teh tarik unek.
I suke minum air2 or jamu yg buat sdri. Kt depan2 i dah share kut.
I suke air pandan, buat kopi pun isi air pandan skit. Or air campur dgn cinnamon. I suke the smell. |
