Stephen King rasanya author yang banyak buku dia difilemkan..
dari Carrie ke The Shining ke novella dia pun..(tapi dari Different Seasons, cuma Shawsank Redemption, The Body (jadi Stand By Me) dan Apt Pupil aja difilemkan...tapi pada Edge, Breathing Method adalah cerita pendek yang paling menarik dalam koleksi 'novella' tu)
ooo..jangan lupa kepada penulis Amerika Arthur Miller...seperti The Crucible dan Death of A Salesman (errr..ni Miller punya ke?hehehe)
tapi rasanya sesebuah adaptasi dari buku ke filem yang paling berjaya...Edge rasa, without a doubt laaa....adalah the James Bond franchise...rasanya filem filem James Bond selepas The Man With The Golden Gun adalah dari skrip dan bukan buku.
dah menyentuh karya novel yang 'melompat' ke filem...apakata kita sentuh lah juga filem filem yang mengadaptasikan cerita dari komik pulak kan? hehe..
takyah la cerita Spiderman tu..semorang dah tahu kan...or The Hulk atau Daredevil...or Superman atau The Punisher..
komik characters yang pernah difilemkan termasuk la Asterix (Monica Belluci wooo...yummy) The Swamp Thing, Batman, The Flash, Flash Gordon, Dick Tracy, Modesty Blaise, Aquaman(?), League Of Extraordinary Gentleman, The Crow (ahhh...Eric Draven...the morbidity is only further compounded with the death of Brandon Lee on set)
dan lagi dan lagi dan lagi...:D..sila lah tambah..kena buat kerja lagi lah... |

Anna masih tak sabar nak tunggu movie Harry Potter ditayangkan walaupun dah baca buku dia
Sbb tak dpt bayangkan makhluk yg ditulis dlm buku
Dan bila dah tengok movie, mesti nak bandingkan dgn buku
Buku lagi bestla, atau movie lagi menarikla (dan bla bla  )

dan ni latest untuk 2005 dia nak keluarkan novel terbaru LEcter Variations..
Ni novel mengisahkan macam mana Doctor Lecter bleh jadi cannibal dan sadistic cam gitu sekali, tak silap background dia masa doktor Lecter remaja masa perang dunia kedua :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
Anyway, sapa nak baca tulisan dia, me strongly recommend Silence of the Lamb, kalo filem dia dah best gile... buku dia is actually lagi best gile pasal lagi detail.:love::love::love::love: |

pada pendapat saya, buku citer harry potter lagi menarik... maklumlah masa filem dia pendek sangat sampai banyak watak dan babak tidak dapat ditunjukkan...terutama watak hantu pengacau si peeves tu...tak sabar jugak nak tunggu filem ke 4 dan novel dia yang ke 6. anyway, filem yang saya tahu diadaptasi dari buku ialah bourne identity dan bourne supremacy. penulis novel dia robert ludlum. ada satu lagi episod pasal bourne ni... lupa plak tajuk dia apa... |

Hmmm.. TV1 baru tayangkan last Saturday cerita "Empire of The Sun"..
I remembered watching the movie when I was about 11 years old.. Mmg excited bila tau TV1 nak tayangkan balik after like.. 14 years already passed after I watched the movie..
I kinda of like this kind of story.. based on autobiography, and this is one of Steven Spielberg's underrated masterpiece.
Cerita ni pasal seorang budak laki British berumur 11 tahun bernama Jamie, di mana dia dilahirkan dan dibesarkan di China.. very luxurious.. and everything was snatched away just like that bila start WW 2. Dia terpisah dari mak bapaknya dan terpaksa duduk dalam kem Jepun selama 4 tahun..
I really can see the transformation from his snobbish self to being really humble at the end of the story (oh BTW, budak tu was acted by Christian Bale -hero Batman Begins).
Cerita ni berdasarkan buku dengan tajuk yang sama tulisan JG Ballard..
Cerita no 2, saya pernah tgk kat TV miniseries bertajuk "I Know My First Name is Steven" dimana seorang budak berumur 7 tahun telah diculik dan lelaki yang culik dia tu sexual abuse him.. urghhhh... He endured it for 7 years under the belief that the man told him that his own family has moved away from the country.. The breakpoint came when he was 14, bila orang laki tu pergi culik budak kecil lain dan dia lari dengan budak tu sebab taknak budak tu endure the same torture as him..
Tapi sedihlah, sebab bila dia balik rumah dia sendiri, he wasn't the same boy anymore, he isn't innocent anymore.. yelah, dah teruk kena sexual abuse dgn lelaki (yg bertaraf Reverend..)
Ini pun based on autobiography novel with the same name..

- Angela's ashes by frank mc court (mc courts bio, hard life in Ireland n' migrated to the States, Angela is mc court's mother)
- konteks Malaysia, Mira Edora by Khadijah Hashim (probably in late 80's, tak silap Noor Kumalasari jadi mak mira n' julia rais as mira)
- Ranjau Sepanjang jalan by Shahnon Ahmad (hard life as farmers, produced by Sarimah if not mistaken) |

prop.. I love the joy luck club... mmg best sgt filemnya! walaupun panjang, tapi cerita tu sampai 2 generasi ke tak silap.. and tell the stories about their circle of friends and their daugthers' life. |

hi LN... glad 2 know we have similar interests, yeah d book/movie revolved around relationships, its been a while since i'd last read d book n' watched the movie bt i like it, though it might appear boring 2 some. |
