banyak lagu fast song dgn muzik yang kompleks (banyak instrumen)

kalu lagu ballad tu mesti pure R&B mcm Kembalilah Sayang..ok gak kan

MORE confident and definitely hotter ? this would be the most apt description of pop chanteuse, Dayang Nurfaizah following her involvement with 8TV? reality talent programme, One In A Million.

The Sarawakian singer took some time off during her recording session to give The Malay Mail exclusive updates of her upcoming album.

?? working on my next proper studio album after Dayang Sayang Kamu, which was released two years ago,? she said.

Earlier this year, she released Kasih, a special album featuring her favourite Malaysian classics that were given new arrangements.

The 25-year-old said some of the composers involved this time include DJ Uno from rap rock group Pop Shuvit, Audi Mok and Jenny Chin.

It will feature 10 songs, including Ingin Ku Miliki, a song originally written by Audi Mok for her to sing at the finals of One In A Million.

Unfortunately, Dayang only made it to the final four.

Touching on the overall vibe of her new album, Dayang said it will still be along the lines of pop R&B.

?here? some Earth, Wind and Fire vibes to it, horn sections as well as old school disco,? she said.

?t? definitely going to be bouncier with more fast numbers and fewer ballads.?

At Press time, Dayang has yet to decide on the album title; presently its working title is Dayang 2007.

?he 2007 date is not only the year the album will be released but it? also my birth date which is on July 20,? she said with a laugh.

If things go as planned, the album should be released in March or April.

Those who want to catch a sneak preview of her new songs can do so at her Sunday Nite ?ive? performance at Planet Hollywood on Jan 14 and 28.

? will be premiering four new songs that night.
