Remember, skin cancer is very slow to develop.
The sunburn you receive this week may take 20 years or more to become skin cancer.
Why do I need to reapply my sunscreen? It is spf 50. well...sadly but true. Certain sunscreen ingredient can degrade under the sun.
Stay out of the sun when UV rays are strongest! Limit your time in the midday Sun to avoid the strongest UV radiation. The Sun's UV rays are strongest between 10 am and 4 PM
Long-term overexposure to the sun can cause the skin to become thick, wrinkled, and leathery. This is usually referred to as "premature aging. |

MYTH: A healthy tan will protect my skin. NO
FACT: A tan might look good to some people, but it really means your skin has been damaged.
Producing melanin, which makes your skin look darker, is your skin cells' response to damage from the sun.
Myth: If I wear sunscreen, I can stay in the sun as long as I want NOOOO
Fact: Sunscreens don't last forever. Here's a quick way to figure out how long your sunscreen will protect you: multiply the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) by 10. The answer is how many minutes you can stay in the sun--then you need to cover up, go inside, or re-apply your sunscreen |

Remember, skin cancer is the most PREVENTABLE cancer of all.
The combination of UVA and UVB radiation (from tanning bed) can result in burning the eyes cornea.
Do not forget to reapply your sunscreen/ sunblock every 2 hours
if you are playing/working/walking.....bla bla bla..ing outside. |

Do you know that tanning bed is more harmful than natural sunlight?
Tanning beds give off at least twice as much ultraviolet (UV) radiation as the sun does.
The rays from a tanning bed are long-wave (UVA) rays instead of short-wave (UVB) rays that you get from the sun.
Oil free (free from mineral, vegtable, animal, and petroleum oil) |

UVA:Ultra Violet ray with longer wavelength( 320-400 nanometer). UVA can be further subdivided into UVA-II 320-340 nm and UVA-I 340-400 nm. UVA can penetrate deeper into skin and damage its elasticity, which cause premature aging and wrinkle look. It can penetrate through glass window too!!! And it is believed to be cause of cancer. Be careful when you select sunscreen. Look at the ingredient list to see if your sunscreen offers enough coverage for UVA as well.
UVB: Shorter wavelength ultra violet (290-320 nm). Cause sunburn and increase risk of skin cancer. It is also believed to cause melanoma.
PABA: Para-Aminobenzoic acid or 4-aminobenzoic acid, maximum amount in product is 5%. It is used to absorb UVB. But if you have sensitive skin, eczema, or dermatitis, you should avoid product that contain PABA.
SPF: Sun Protection Factor(SPF)is a number that tell you how long you can stay in the sun before getting “burnt”. Therefore, SPF only tells you about the protection for UVB. When you select sunscreen, you still need to read ingredient list to see if your sunscreen give you UVA protection or not.
What SPF means to you? Ok. I will make this simple… Let say, you normally turn pink or red after 15 minutes under the sun without sunscreen. Ok? SPF20 will let you stay in the sun for 300 minutes BEFORE you turn red. Formula is SPF*time before you get burnt= time of protection. That’s why selection what SPF to use is also depend on your skin tolerant. It is different from person to person.
PA: PA+, PA++, PA+++ What are these? PA is a Protection grade of UVA. It shows how the products have UVA protective effect range from +some, ++good, +++excellent protection. PA is not an ingredient. PA grading system originated from Asian, therefore you might not see this “PA” in most European, Australian, or American products. No “PA on the label” doesn’t mean that the product won’t give you UVA protection; it only means that you have to read the active ingredient list. That’s all. |

Dear biduanda layang,
Its true bedak talkum biasa boleh clog pores even baby powder. baby punya skin lain ngan orang dewasa punya skin .... cubalah cari pores kat muka baby .. jumpa tak?
The best way is using loose powder .... choose powder with yellow based color not pink based color.
I will suggest using T.Leclarc Loose powder, Chanel loose powder, Bobbi Brown Loose Powder, Estee Lauder loose powder or Jane Iredale powder. I love all from these line ... so thats my suggestion.
Saya mempunyai kaedah sendiri apabila nak membeli powder atau foundation.
saya akan pergi ke tempat yg jualnya .. suruh mereka put it on my face ... ttp. saya tak langsung beli. Mutia akan jalan2 dulu ke tempat lain selama 1 jam ... jika suka hasilnya kat muka .. then go back to the counter yg jual barang tersebut ... kalau tak suka ... avoid lalu tempat tue for the whole day |

Nak tanya jugak soklan kat sini.
Adakah memadai pakai compact powder yg ada sunscreen UVA dan UVB ? Saya tengok yg Mutia list down tuh is sunscreen yg macam foundation. Kalau pakai two-way cake or compact powder yg ada sunscreen cukup tak ? Sebab bila dah pakai moisturizer and nak pakai foundation sunscreen lagi, terasa tebal sanagt makeup muka dan make the face very oily, tue yg tak berapa suka tua. Any suggestions ? |

jika calla just keluar sekejap2 like from car to building atau jalan2 kat shopping center ... ianya memadai.
Ttp. jika bawa kereta pada tengah hari atau kena kerja outing .. kena guna sunscreen terlebih dahulu sebelum letak foundation atau 2 way cake.
Jika takut very oily ... jangan guna moisturizer .. instead just guna sunscreen yg tak greasy before makeup. |
ohya hampir terlupa .. kaedah guna sunscreen before makeup .. biarkan sunscreen tue meresap kat kulit like 5-10 minutes baru letak foundation atau powder. |

31st Aug nanti mix nak pergi vacation dgn family. Agak2 sunscreen apa yang baik dan kalau boleh jgn la yang mahal2 sbb mix jarang berjemur. |
berapa harga yg mix sanggup nak beli sunscreen tue? |
RM50.
