Nope. SAMs are for shooting down aircrafts and slow moving missiles only. There are no technologies that can stop artillery shells and astros rockets.

Memang lah. Malaysia kini sudah memiliki bilangan pesawat tempur yang memuaskan.
Jumlah R-77 dan AIM-120 yang boleh dibawa sukhoi serta hornet adalah sebanyak 212 .
Mig-29 pula boleh mengimbangi kelemahan radarnya dengan membawa R-27 yang dilengkapi penderia infra merah serta jarak operasi 120km. Maka jika dakwaan 200 jet singapura itu benar sekalipun dan dengan mengandaikan kesemuanya berjaya berlepas ke udara sebelum landasan masing-masing dimusnahkan, ia masih tidak akan menjadi masalah untuk TUDM.

The biggest investors in IDR so far are malaysian corporatons and investors from gulf countries.

Assuming some Singaporean fighters managed to escape attention from Malaysian AAMs long enough to search for our artilleries, their SAR radars and sniper pods are still useless for detecting weapons hidden under the Metrokoats camouflage. This camouflage technology is so effective even the USAF imported them from malaysia

SG has those redars on F16s(F16I multimode redar with SAR)(Sniper pod), F15s(AESA with SAR)(Sniper pod), MPA(300 km SAR redar), Phalcon AWACs dan UAV(SAR UAV redar more than 100km..remember South Africa exercise ). All network and link up. F35 yang akan datang will add more detection kapabiliti.

Of course singapore has to adopt a pre emptive strike policy. This open secret is the only realistic chance they have to defeat Malaysia.
If Malaysia strikes first, singapore抯 chances of survival is zero.
But singaporeans need to understand that being the first to strike is one thing. Getting the desired result is a different matter altogether.

In order to beat Malaysia, Singapore needs to knock out our air force and artillery quickly
but the problem is, once they enter Malaysian air space to attack air force bases in kuantan, gong kedak and butterworth, even the mig-29s stationed at kuantan will have sufficient time to scramble. They will then speed northwards to build a comfortable distance of 120km before turning around to launch the 120km range R-27ET before flying northwards again to stay clear of singaporean amraam range. When the sukhois from gong kedak join the fight they have the option of launching both the R-27ET as well as the 130km R-27AE while maintaining a safe distance from the enemy.
With this tactic of firing missiles and at the same time denying the enemy any opportunity to shoot back, Malaysia will maximize singaporean casualties while suffering zero losses herself. Even AWACS and tanker aircrafts won抰 be spared. To put it bluntly, this air to air engagement will be a turkey shoot.

The other problem facing a singaporean surprise attack is that our artilleries will not open fire during the 憈urkey shoot.

Why bother fleeing when your country could easily repel conventional attacks from any country except the USA ? It would be a waste of time, resources and effort.

Malays have always been aware that other races will not fight to defend malaysia
But ketuanan melayu has nothing to do with it. Because even if non-bumis have been treated equally, they would still backstab us when the opportunity arise. Thats what happened in Malacca 1511.

Malays are not stupid. We learn from history.
If war ever breaks out, malays not only will be the only ppl fighting for Malaysia, we will also be keeping a watchful eye on ethnic chinese and indians as well.
