my ratings for arsenal vs newcastle 3-0
just 3 goals?? if it weren't for shay given, it cudda been 6..memang 2nd n 3rd goal tu was typical arsenal goals. pass n move, knowing where ur teammates are...great performance by adebayor. he ran all over d newcastle defence. sekejap kat kiri, sekejap kat kanan. he gave rooms for RVP n fabregas n nasri to penetrate. eboue was much2 better than previously. but i think he still cant decide what to do when with d ball quickly. nasri was good. he held d ball too long sometimes for my liking, but he will always get thru d opposition with d ball at his feet. denilson's getting better at tackling, a total 180 degrees turnaround from last week. defensively we had nothing much to do. toure got 2-3 shots at goal, captain gallas missed a sitter. sagna had a tame shot. n clichy got one nice piledriver, but too direct at given. almunia was there when we needed him twice ( owen n butt).
so here's my rating:
Almunia - 7 - I wud've given him 6, but he was alert when newcastle suddenly attacked.
Sagna - 7 - nothing much to do. solid as ever.
Toure - 7 - same as sagna, but had a few good efforts at goal.
Gallas - 8 - held d defense line nicely, controlled d team, yelled back at keegan. nice....
Clichy - 7 - attacking fullback. unlike ashley cole, clichy likes to dribble. n he's good a it.
Eboue - 7 - long time since i've seen him dis good at RM.
Denilson - 8 - starting to show what he learned from gilberto. just sits there, reads d game n pugs d gap.
Fabregas - 6 - not much of an attacking threat. but just becoz he was there, newcastle pissed their pants..
Nasri - 7 - really gelling well with our style. especially liked when he repayed back what dat crazy a$$hole barton did to him earlier. for that, i increase nasri to 10!
RvP - 8 - glad to see him scoring again. nampak adebayor syok sebab die dah ade balik. hope he recovers quickly.
Adebayor - 8 - ran his a$$ off around d pitch. unfortunately no goal to show for his efforts.dribble pun dah dapat balik. |
