I think this is an easier odds to understand; the higher chance to win if the number is smaller when divided.
Odds to Win American Idol Season 10
Lauren Alaina 4.5/1 – There is no reason Lauren shouldn’t be around this area all season long. Can she handle the pressure? I think so. She jumps from 4th to 1st.
Pia Toscano 5/1- There is no doubt in my mind that Pia can handle the pressure. She has the right amount of experience and she’s really the proper age. As long as she doesn’t encounter a lot of female envy, she will be one of the last standing. Pia jumps from 5th to 2nd.
Casey Abrams 5.5/1- Casey is so unique and musically intelligent, even on an off night we’re going to like him. I don’t think any one of these top 3 will see the bottom 3 all season. Casey drops from 1st to 3rd.
Paul McDonald 7/1- Paul has a resume and the chops. I’m not so sure he’ll have the staying power to hang in there this long. Paul jumps from 6th to 4th.
Jacob Lusk 8/1- Being the best black male singer ever in this competition will get him a long way. It really depends on how much he can change it up from time to time. Jacob travels from 13th to 5th.
Thia Megia 8/1- This is one of the top 3 vocalists this year. In other seasons she would have ruled vocally as well. But same as this year I just don’t think she is emotionally mature enough for this competition. She almost broke down the night the top 13 were picked and she got all kinds of praises from the judges. Can you imagine what happens the first time she gets gored? It’ll be worse that Jasmine Trias top 4 night. Thia goes from 18th to 6th.
James Durbin 9/1- James so far has been a one trick pony. That’s not to say he will always be. But after Adam Lambert and Siobhan, I think the screaming might be a hindrance, But he did hold back last time. James moves from 8th to 7th.
Scott McCreery 9/1- Scotty’s only problem will be picking songs that non Country fans will like. There is no doubt he’s one of the best ever and the very best male Country singer ever in this competition. I suspect he would be a good bet at 9/1. Scotty drops from 3rd to 8th.
Karen Rodriguez 15/1- I don’t think Karen, as good as she is, is unique enough amongst all the balladeers from seasons past and especially this season to stand out. She could certainly go at least this far. Karen rises from 11th to 9th.
Stefano Langone 15/1- I will be very surprised if Stefano lands on the tour bus. Two of the girls underneath him are immensely more talented. If he were a 100/1 odds it still wouldn’t be that good of a bet. Stefano dips from 9th to 10th.
Naima Adedapo 25/1- I suspect Naima to be in Stefano’s place. But with the vocals she has and being 26, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities for her to win. At 25/1 it’s worth a couple dollars. I personally wouldn’t bet because she, I don’t think, believes in herself as much as I do. Naima moves from 12th to 11th.
Haley Reinhart 30/1- I like Haley but she is a one trick pony or at least that’s all we’ve seen. Because she was a first ballot top 13’er she does have some fans. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her on tour. I would be unbelievably surprised if she won. Even at 30/1 it’s not worth a dollar. Haley jumps from 20th to 12th.
Ashthon Jones 30/1- Remember Lil Rounds? She’s a slimmer version with a little less power. I will say she is more attractive but too diva cookie cutter. She certainly could be the first one going home. Ashthon moves from 16th to 13th.
One of the early odds favorite was Julie Zorrilla. I knew that was way off kilter when she was ranked 2nd. She had the biggest fall. Even though she was pushed, I never heard a voice like Thia, Pia, Karen, or Lauren. I honestly never thought she’d make the top 24.
Haley was the longest shot to make the top 13 and she made it on first ballot. Something to be said for bedroom eyes. she can sing too.
Thia made the biggest jump. Her odds had he not even making the top 13. Something to be said for mad vocals. |

I pun pening sket kalau baca ayat yg betul cthnya 4.5/1 - setiap sekali anda dijangka menang, 4.5 kali anda dijangka kalah
I lebih suka baca % kemenangan..lebih senang faham
Lauren 4.5/1 - peluang lauren tuk menang 22.2 % (1 bahagi 4.5)
Paling tipis peluang tuk menang is Ashton, 0.03% (1 bahagi 30) |
