"In an EGM held on 25 November 2002 at the Club's premises, the vast majority (78%) of the Ordinary Members voted in favour to relocate the Penang Turf Club to Batu Kawan. An international class state-of-the-art racecourse will be built at the new site to mark Penang Turf Club's entry into the international racing league which will in turn promote tourism in Penang regarding all things equestrian. Pic below shows part of the proposed new racecourse designed by HOK, international specialists in racecourse designs."

北海外环公路对于北海市民来说,是一条喜乐参半的发展计划,市民们无不希望这一条大道路能够为北海塑造新生命,却又担心大道的收费加重了市民们的负担。

无论如何,每一位北海市民都希望,北海外环公路能够早日通车!

■ 已经开始使用的北海王俊畅路通往诗布朗再也的路段也将设立北海外环公路的收费站。
