so, kenn, u suggest buat kat tv wall, lah? so macam mana dgn warna cat dinding - i was thinking of light brown or orange yang mendap sikit (i.e. bukan terang sangat) and combine dengan cream for other walls - ok ke combination ni and will it make my living + dining nampak spacious, tak?

Or how about idea pakai roskstone kat feature wall tu?

well...i would like to ask for ur opinion on how to 'save' my house due to the mistake of choosing the curtain colour...
i chose dark colour curtain ( some sort of combination of hijau lumut and brown colour)...with sheer curtain...actually that kind of curtain may be suitable for a big
house. Unfortunately, mine is just a semi-d concept terrace house with 26' x 65' land area and 1989 built up.
What make it worse is my sofa set is dark brown with very light brown cushion. I didnt paint any colour on the wall. It is still on original colour that is slightly cream colour.

Truely, i'm not happy with the curtain when i hang it up on my window/sliding doors. Please kenn help me...what should i do to make my living n dining look fantastic??? FYI my dining table is a glass table with black wood frame n chairs. I didint know what was on my mind when i bought the curtain!!! How to balance the curtain colour and the furniture to make my house look great without changing the curtain (coz it costed me thousands)...
I think u should come to my house to rescue....

Perhaps ur idea will bring back my happiness...u may come with ideas n affordable quotation.

hi, i tak dapat bagi even rough figure, sebab ukuran i tak sure, dan material pun tak sure. harga akan banyak berbeza dgn jenis material yg tak sama, jadi saye tak boleh bagi even rough figure.
but i can simply brief u about the things.

1.)kalau nak buat feature wall kat living ni, i suggest just paint the wall which u nak gantung lcd tv, make it as simple as possible, kalau boleh, cuba cat warna yg tawar sikit, sebab nampak sempit kalau guna warna yg gelap, unless seluruh rumah pun nak 100% totally make over, then i ade confidence boleh menjadikan rumah anda nampak luas dan besar.
utk curtain, depends on which style u go for, kalau nak modern, boleh cuba roman blind, ataupun yg lebih senang sikit jenis handing with rod yg biasa nampak kat ikea.
utk sofa, i tak berapa sure berapa space left kat living anda lepas tv cabinet masuk.
kalau living hanye utk watching tv dan tak perlukan space lagi utk maybe almari kecil lain atau ape ape, boleh cuba L shape sofa.
utk flooring, kalau budget cukup just go for it, sebab dalaman rumah akan nampak luar biasa sikit kalau flooring with laminated. flooring jenis ni pun match dgn concept modern.

2.)utk kitchen cabinet, kalau berani cuba lime green, memang idea yg fresh, tapi depends on the design totally, kalau design cabinet boleh match dgn warna ni, memang boleh nampak sangat cantik. bukan ape warna yg u minat, then u can do it, kena juga depends on the ability of designer, kalau dia tak comfidence in matching those sharp colour, baik jgn cuba, kesal nanti.
oleh sebab lime green for kitchen cabinet memang modern style, jadi cabinet design juga must be modern, yg sangat sangat modern.
to answer ur nex question, honestly, colour lime green kitchen cabinet totally tak match dgn warna tiles kitchen ni. kalau budget limit for changing tiles, i advise kitchen cabinet guna balik warna yg lebih common iaitu dark brown, tapi depends on designer's creativity, dark brown pun boleh turn into very special idea.

3.) ruang ni cukup utk built in cabinet, tapi kalau nak letak washing machine, seems like tak berapa cukup, but dun worry, since decide to custom made, so boleh leave some space for the washing machine, but built in cabinet tak bolehlah besar sangat.

4.) utk master bedroom, bolehlah buat cantik sikit, utk bilik lain, since u tak sure for what purpose, jadi i suggest baik jimat sikit dan belanjakan duit tu utk living ke atau kitchen.

Utk rough estimation, sila send PM for me, i akan cuba explain, or u can cuba bagilah measurement sikit, senang utk i estimate.

utk tv cabinet, kalau nak save space, letak kat bawah tangga tu, tapi kalau tak kisah guna space banyak, letaklah kat dinding panjang (dinding yg satu lagi tu), ini nampak lebih cantik.
kalau letak kat dinding panjang ruang dalaman akan nampak luas sikit, but in fact consume a lot of space.

hi tina, i suggest combine light brown dgn cream colour lebih sesuai berbanding warna orange yg u mention tu dgn cream.
utk stone tu, memang space consuming actually, lagipun dah common sekarang ni, tapi kalau tina memang suka dan ingin go for it, then cubalah stone yg pattern dan warna yg tak biasa boleh nampak, cari yg 'rare' sikit, ataupun size ketulan stone tu besar sikit, sebab yg biasa tu ketulan kecil aje.

not bad ur house built up size, not to say big or small, its average and nice.
how u decide to save ur house?
i got 3 options for u,

1.) change curtain (but i know u wouldn't choose this because u mentioned it cost u a bomb)
2.)change other furniture (i know u wouldn't too because it even cost more than changing curtain set)

option 1 & 2 are just some suggestions for your reference, here comes the best solution.

3.)do some decoration or add something special which able to attract ppl's sight once they step into ur house. example shelfs, artistic picture frame, plants, carpet, pendent lamp, some mirror, some wallpaper, or if can, some special design plaster ceiling.

hope its help....kalau nak go for option 2 or 3, if u need quotation, u can anytime PM me, i guarantee that i can bring back ur 'happiness'!!! and 100% satisfaction!

bole tak bagi advice on carpet or rug yg sesuai utk my living room...kalau u perasan my coffee table,my L-shape sofa are quite big so kalo nak beli carpet yang besar nanti bila nak vacuum n cleaning susah pulak..so i'm thinking beli different size carpet for every section around the coffe table  macam dalam gambar tuh(tu carpet my mum so kena pulangkan.)...sesuai ke?kalau sesuai how abt type of carpet and colour yg match?bole advice soft furnishing tak utk mencantikkan living room ni?my concept is modern kontemporari..tq

nak tanya pendapat tentang carpet kat my living room.kalo u notice my sofa n coffee table besar so kalo nak letak carpet besar susah pulak nak vacum n mop lantai..so i'm thinking nak beli carpet yg few sizes utk cover ruang kat living room cam gambar sekang(carpet cheetah tuh my mum nyer so haf to return back)sesuai tak i buat cam tu?how about type of carpet n combination ?additional accessories for my living room?tq

hi mrsd, sampai sekarang baru i boleh view the msg in my thread, ade problem last few days.
not bad ur interior, simple and fresh, match to the concept.
utk carpet, JANGAN beli carpet saiz kecil utk diletak di certain section, ini akan nampak sangat pelik, biarlah kerja vacumm susah sikit, tapi janji cantik, belilah carpet saiz besar, letak satu carpet saiz besar kat tengah tengah cukup.
kalau nak modern style, cuba carpet with pattern, for example ade pattern bulat bulat, ataupun berbulu.
kalau nak carpet yg berflora, cubalah warna yg special and trendy sikit, pun nampak cantik juga.
utk decoration lain, i rasa dah cukup, keep it simple, nampak pun selesa and 1 thing, jangan risau, interior living anda dah cukup utk create atmosphere yg mane boleh giving fresh look for ur guest.
