Britney Could Star On New Sitcom

Hollywood.com reported that Britney has met with Will & Grace star Sean Hayes and a group of producers to discuss joining the cast of a new sitcom.

The 24-year-old attended the meeting to talk about a role in an ensemble sitcom about teachers, tentatively titled Detention.

During the two-hour meeting in late February, the singer read lines from a script and confessed she was "aching to give acting a go," according to Us Weekly magazine.

Spears guest starred alongside Hayes on Will & Grace last month, appearing as a conservative talk show host.
A source close to the actor says, "Having seen the way Britney works, he knows she has potential."

One of the producers' main concerns was that the pop star was pregnant with her second child.

The source adds, "First, she laughed and said, 'Do I look it?' Then she assured them that she wouldn't jeopardize a new project.

"Britney is up for it. Everyone will be meeting again soon."

Kevin Federline reportedly banned wife Britney Spears from his recent Las Vegas concert.

The fledgling rapper, who is desperate to kick-start his music career, is said to have ordered his pop singer spouse to stay away from the showcase, at which he played two songs from his forthcoming debut album, 'Playing With Fire', over fears she would "upstage" him.

The 'Toxic' singer - who has a son, Sean Preston, with 28-year-old Federline - is said to have been devastated after he broke the news to her on a dinner date at plush Las Vegas restaurant Nero.

One onlooker said: "It was a full-blown war of words. It was a very bad night for Britney.

"Kevin didn't want Britney overshadowing him on the red carpet. Britney fled the restaurant and raced up to her suite alone, boycotting his performance."

Later that night, a dishevelled Federline joined family and friends at Vegas' Pure nightclub to be introduced to the waiting crowd by Paris Hilton's mother Kathy, without Britney.

We have all heard about pop-tart Britney Spears' son Sean Preston? accidental fall from his highchair numorous times since it happened, but apparently Britney is still upset over it, according to a published report.
First off, the flustered superstar decided that she should fire her nanny, who is supposedly 'responsible' for the head-bumping incident, to prevent any future problems.

Ever since the highchair fall, Britney has been "hiding out and depressed," but it doesn't stop there.  US Weekly reports that the singer even ditched her brother Bryan? birthday celebration to "hide out".

A source close to britney reveals to US Weekly magazine, "She wanted to be a mother and thought she could snap her fingers and be the perfect mom,"

"But Britney is learning the hard way that being a good mother is something you always have to work at."

Secondly, It's been said that that Spears actually hired a doctor to provide her with credible advise on how to keep her son out of harms way.

A source informed In Touch Weekly "The doctor advised her not to leave Preston on any high surfaces where he could roll off."

ITW also claims that the pop-tart felt the doctor's common sense recommendation was so remarkable that she actually wanted to employ the 'au fait' doctor full time, but he clued her in on how unnecessary that would be.

And according to MSNBC's The Scoop, 'Childcare is putting additional pressure on Spears? marriage to her aspiring rapper hubby, Kevin Federline. The two got into a spat over whether to go to his hip hop show at the Las Vegas club Pure last week. "Kevin wanted Britney to stay out that night, but she refused," an insider told the mag. "She wanted to stay at the hotel with the baby because she felt uncomfortable leaving him with the nanny." So Brit spent the night in her hotel room while Kevin partied.'

Britney Spears is pregnant with her second child with husband Kevin Federline, the Web site of Us Weekly is reporting,

According to the Us weblog, Spears was spotted at the swimming pool of the Caesar's Palace casino in Las Vegas over the weekend and was visibly pregnant. Sources then confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine.

The report is not the first time speculation has surfaced about Spears having a second child on the way. MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls reported in February that the pop star was rushed to the hospital with early signs of pregnancy.

Spears' rep denied it at the time. But her camp has been silent since the Us report surfaced Tuesday night.

Spears, 24, and Federline, 28, have been married since September 2004. Their first child, son Sean, is seven months old.

Federline has two children from his previous relationship to Shar Jackson.

Britney Spears To Hold Mystery Press Conference

Britney Spears will hold a press conference on Thursday (04May06), but even her closest aides have no idea what she's going to announce.

The Toxic superstar has invited selected media representatives, journalists and record industry executives to the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The 24-year-old has not revealed what the subject matter of the press conference will be, but it is widely anticipated she will officially announce her second pregnancy with husband Kevin Federline.

Sony executive Karen Phillips says, "Britney hasn't held a press conference in so long that we know it's something big - pregnancy, a split, we're not sure."

Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 after a whirlwind romance and have eight-month-old son Sean Preston together.

The couple have been plagued by persistent rumours of relationship problems and have not been seen together in the past few weeks.

Jive Records and Spears' management team are reportedly planning to release her fifth album in November (06), and a world tour is tentatively scheduled for 2007.Spears was also due to perform at numerous award shows this year (06), but has since cancelled the commitments without explanation.
