Yang naik tu pun single traveller. Family tetap jugalah nak bawak keter.

Not worthy naik train satu family.  Katalah satu trip KB-KL RM100. Kalau 5 orang,  RM500 satu way.  Pergi balik RM1.000. Belum lagi kena naik teksi atau LRT nak kesana kesini. Ini yg Mat Budu marah bila kena realign........ lalu N9, Nilai,  Bangi,  Putrajaya.  Kawasan2 ni lah perlu ada tren sebab belum ada fasiliti tu lg.  Tapi Mat Budu marah.....konon nak cepat sampai KL.  Stupid Mat Budu.  Dah track shortened by 40 km...... fizik mengatakan it will cut the time too.

Kerugian tren penumpang tu satu hal. Yg.lebih kritikal lagi jarak rail P.Klang - kuantan tu tak ekonomikal utk.bawak kargo. Jarak ekonomikal minimum 2,100miles. Jika kurang dari itu, lebih murah bagi shipper ikut Singaporn je. Ni buktinya:

     A study presented by Sea Point Group suggested that maritime transportation could save some $2,000-per container over railway transportation when moving containers between Long Beach CA and Memphis TN. The railway distance is approximately 2,000 miles while the maritime distance via the Panama Canal is 4,355 nautical miles to New Orleans and another 400 nautical miles along the Lower Mississippi River. At the time, neo-Panamax ships carried containers from Shanghai and Hong Kong to Long Beach at a cost of some $4,800 per container over a voyage of 6,000 nautical miles, or a cost of $0.80 per nautical miles.

Using that cost between Long Beach and New Orleans suggests a per container transportation cost of $3,500 and indirectly suggesting a per container railway transportation cost of some $5,500 over a 2,000-mile journey, or $2.75 per mile aboard a train carrying double stacked containers. A per container railway transportation cost of $2.50 per mile can be applied to the Long Beach – Chicago (2,100 miles - $5,200) and Long Beach – Newark/New York City (3,000 miles - $7,500) links. Route Bangi, Putrajaya, Nilai, Seremban tu passenger volume nya tinggi & profit yg.lebih tinggi. Tujuan nya utk.cover kerugian route Ganu Kelate yg.volume nya rendah & frekuensi nya kurang, most likely sebulan sekali je bila org. Patatimo balik kampung.

Jadi memang la ECRL is a white elephant.  Bawa orang tak untung (harap oghe Pata Timo jek mana nak untung)........bawak baranganpun tak ekonomik dan menguntungkan. Dua2 ke laut.  Yang untung orang politik...

Paling untung China komunis. Depa bagi loan kat M'sia, bulan2 China kutip duit bunga loan je sampai bang Jamil mampos. Kalau Ecrl rugi tak mampu bayar loan, China akan ambik macam kes Hambantota port & beberapa negara Aprika.

Tanpa China pun abis licin tanah Rizab Melayu tinggal 12% je dibawah Umno selama 60 tahun

Contoh jarak minimum yg.ekonomikal, utk.bawak kargo pakai rail, adalah dari Port Klang ke Xi'an, China (+/- 2,200miles), berdasarkan kajian yg.disiarkan dlm.transportation journal di post 45#.
