sorry for this late reply..thanx tho 4 visiting my fp (more shots uploaded today)!! not so sure whether 630 tu pix lagik clear dari 640..but i like black color 640..looks nice!! anyway fyi all my shots taken using manual mode..x suke auto..last but not least try to read all the reviews b4 u decide to pick either one..good luck then!!

4 batts mmg berat skit tapi at least feels stable in our hands..630/640 not pocket-size model..do agree that swivel lcd finder tuh the best most useful thing tho..lelain slip-in pocket model mane ader kan..

ajarlah macam mana nak guna manual mode tu..

saya selalu ada masalah kalau amik gambar di tempat cahaya yg malap & waktu malam..

yg night scene/night snapshot tu mmg cantik tapi objek nak kena betul2 stable.. tangan yg mengambil pun sama gak.. dan tangan aku lak jenis menggeletar tak tentu pasal..

ajarlah ya arjoo...

saya selalu ada masalah kalau amik gambar di tempat cahaya yg malap & waktu malam..

yg night scene/night snapshot tu mmg cantik tapi objek nak kena betul2 stable.. tangan yg mengambil pun sama gak.. dan tangan aku lak jenis menggeletar tak tentu pasal..

aiyoo..saye pun budak baru belajo just play around with the settings ie shutter, aperture and iso ..kalo nite shot kene increase iso but then our powershots the higher iso lagik byk noise..or pakai low iso , wide open aperture and super-stable hands or tripod tgk la how much light available..saye pon trial & error but since it's digital kalo salah bule delete..hehe..try to make full use of camera's ability..might not be as pretty as SLR tapi kdg tgk yg pakai SLR pon pics ordinary je..hehe..eh 640 takde image stablilizer ek?

rasanya takda..   sebab tulah most of the time saya hanya akan gunakan SCN mode KIDS & PETS since that is the only one yg boleh capture slightly moving objects dengan efisien..

kalau guna mode lain.. kalau tangan getar sket.. terus gambar jadi blur..

ISO tu utk apa?? kenapa kalau lagi tinggi value dia lagi tinggi noise? :stp:

syoknye guna camera comel2 ni..mudah di bawa kemana2...

high iso mostly utk nite shot..higher noise bcoz digicams sensor dia kecik tak mcm slr's..tapi depends jugak kot dgn lighting then maybe u dont need to crank up iso..instead adjust aperture jer kalo still gelap gak baru la up kan iso tuh..my xperience..mandai2 jer nih!!

Komen aku pasal CANON POWERSHOT A640 ni..


aku guna kamera ni basic2 je.. overall mmg baguslah kamera ni kalau lighting cun.. mmg sharp.. 10 MP lah katakan.. . masalahnya cuma kalau indoor shot yg tak cukup lighting.. tu yg aku masih tercari2 lagi solutionnya. Pastu kan.. a640 ni kalau ko tgk output dgn LCD kamera tu mmg tak berapa cantik sgt.. Tp kalau dah transfer kat PC mmg cun!!

lagi yg best sebab boleh flip LCD tu.. so senanglah nak amik gambar sendiri.. ehehe..

yg tak bestnya ianya agak berat sebab 4 biji bateri AA.. so have to handle with care.. aku biasa bawak sekali dgn beg kamera senang.. sebab dia bukannya jenis slip-in pocket.. it's gedabak type..

lagi yang best ialah... walaupun amik gambar zoom... hasilnya tetap tip-top!!

kalau ko nak survey detail pasal digicam ni... better review dekat www.dpreview.com. website tu mmg dedicated utk digicam.. in fact, aku beli a640 ni pun sebab baca review dr situ lah..

btw.. kakak aku ada kamera olympus u710.. hah kamera tu mmg jenis slip-in pocket.. mmg cute.. mmg cun.. user friendly some more.. siap ada help lagi waktu nak amik gambar.. output dekat LCD pun lawa..

cumanya.. kalau ko transfer ke PC.. hasil gambarnya taklah sebaik mana.. so-so je..

used this camera underwater recently ... tapi sebab first time guna camera dalam air.. and viz was about 1-3 meters ..   ni je la yang dapat ditunjuk kan..

630/640 sama prob..indoor mmg kureng lah   outdoor mmg ok..sharp and clear..macro ok leh manual focus lagik..overall happy with it..next upgrade of coz SLR..teringin nak Nikon D40x

baru aku pasan, A640 mahal laaa 299 euros! Ixus 70 plak 269 euros  skrg aku dah tawar hati nak beli digicam, teringin nak beli camcorder terus
