tersgtla betul...  hatchback version laku mcm goreng pisang panas kalau kt UK. sbb sana kete kecik mahal drpd kete yg gedabak2. tp ppl in bolehland ni..masih consider STORAGE as a big factor. so, selagi harganya tak mampu bersaing dgn myvi...agak susah nk laku. tgkla apa jadi dgn swift. so i hope fiesta takkan menghadapi masalah yg sama...

Setakat 6th Generation ajer!??? Civic dah 8th generation!!! Lebih hebat dari Ford yg hampir tak wujud kat pasaran Malaysia.

I am talking about cars that are proven in Malaysia. Yg proven kat luar sana toksah cerita. Pasaran Malaysia nie unique. Lain dari yg lain. Mana ada org ambik loan 12 tahun kat luar sana!!! Kat Malaysia sahaja!!

Kat UK sana org selalu balik kampung ker? Org putih anak ramai ker? Jadi storage masih lagi faktor penting kat Malaysia. Kereta cinonet kalau rega mahal nak buat apa kat Malaysia nie. Kereta smart car yg muat dua org tu takde saper nak beli kat sini. Rega sampai RM80,000. Kalau nak compare sesgt dgn UK, toksah duk Malaysia lah. Pi duk UK.

haha..apa kaitan storage, anak ramai dan hatchback? ko ingat kalau beli sedan yg storage besar boleh sumbat anak yg ramai dlm tu ke? still kene tukar MPV or van jugak..

lawak..lawak. another T, N & H fans yg menyibuk masuk board kete lain semata2 utk bashing without looking on other aspects..aku bkn compare UK n malaysia, tp compare KERETA. just nk tunjukkan...bhw di luar sana...kete jenama lain pun bagus juga...proven and worldly recognized lagik. if u choose to stay under tempurung..what else can i say..be it.

i do not own T, H, N, F or atau die hard fan mana2 brand pun. just supporting hak pengguna. we shud get more of what we paid. bknnya beli downgrade kete just because of our "unique" perception and worship on certain brand..

ok, i rest my case...

Org gila ajer sumbat anak dlm bonet. Kereta sedan still good kalau anak ada 3 and less tp kalau bonet cinonet boleh ker guna utk balik kampung dgn bawak tiga anak dgn barang-barang bagai? Mana nak letak barang? MPV biasanya org yg dah anak more than 3.

Compare kereta di Malaysia dgn di negara lain tanpa melihat akan perbezaan dari segi dasar automotive adalah satu comparison yg bodoh sama sekali. Malaysia car market is a distorted market. Dan the long affair with Japanesse models make conti brand less attractive and therefore small economic of scale which results in high spare part cost plus the scarcity of spare and little knowledge among local mechanics, etc, etc.

Aku duk UK lama gak. Duk US pun lama. Takde bawah temurungnya. Kereta lain pun bagus tp payah nak tanding Japanesse model dari segi durability and low maintenance. Kenapa Toyota jadi pengeluar kereta no 1 satu dunia if not because of the reliability dan low maintenance? Even though toyota ada problem lately tp still toyota model in demand.

Dekat board nie sesiapa sahaja boleh masuk dlm mana-mana topic. Forum nie bukan mak bapak siapa punya!!!

It was arguably the car with all the pre-launch publicity this year, having had a good seven months or so of doing so in various forms up to this point, but now the wait is over and things are finally rolling. The Ford Fiesta was officially launched this evening in Malaysia at the Opera in Sunway Pyramid, and the neat surprise is that the pricing has improved on that bandied about before pre-launch.
Before today, the indicative pricing for the Fiesta, which is of course available in three variants – an entry-level 1.4 litre hatch, a 1.6 litre sedan and a range-topping 1.6 litre Sport hatch – was RM73,888, RM79,888 and RM84,888 respectively, all on-the-road with insurance.

The wonderful news for those looking at the B-segment offering is that the 1.4 litre manual’s price has dipped under RM70k, in this case RM69,888, while the sedan goes for RM78,888. As for the 1.6 litre Sport, it’s two thousand cheaper than expected, rolling in at RM82,888, again all on-the-road with insurance.
Our earlier test drive report, filed by my colleague Danny Tan, already explains the Thai-made car in great detail, but to recap, you’re certainly getting a lot for your money with the Fiesta. At the top-end, here’s a hatch with plenty of snazz about it.

There’s that new Ti-VCT (Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing) 1.6 litre pot for starters (which is also to be found on the sedan), offering 118 hp (or 120 PS, if you prefer) and 152 Nm of torque, and the Fiesta is the only car in its price range offering a six-speed Powershift twin-clutch tranny.
Other items on the equipment list includes ABS with Hill Launch Assist, ESP, EBD, emergency brake assist, a six-speaker audio system offering Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity and Voice Control, dual airbags, Easy Fuel capless refuelling system, Isofix mounting points, power folding side mirrors and 195/40 series rubbers riding on five-spoke 16-inch alloys.

The kit mentioned is for the 1.6 litre Sport, but on the whole the range has a decent spread of features. In terms of boot space, the sedan offers 471 litres of cargo space, while the hatch has a 281 litre capacity – getting more naturally if you fold down the 60:40 split rear seats.
A wide colour palette is available for the exterior, with Cool White, Mica Black and Metropolitan Grey common to all three models. The manual gets a fourth shade, True Red, while the rest of the sedan’s six colours are made up of Phantom Blue, Sparking Gold and Highlight Silver.

As for the 1.6 Sport, eight’s the weight in this case, and besides that listed above (save Sparkling Gold, which is unique to the sedan) there are two special shades – the hero colour called Chili Orange and a very cool looking Phantom Purple (maybe you can name your Fiesta Barney?)
The Fiesta range comes with a three-year/100,000km warranty, and to sweeten the deal further, buyers get the Ford Extended Service Plan thrown in for good measure – the three-year or 60,000km free maintenance plan covers parts and labour, and included in the list are engine oil and filter changes, multi-point inspections, engine belts and hoses, spark plugs and wiper blades.

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion says that more than 500 bookings have already been taken in the Klang Valley alone (the nationwide numbers are still being compiled), with the first customer deliveries going underway now that the car has been launched. Nonetheless, the waiting period for the Fiesta isn’t that long – with a steady stream of stock coming in from Rayong, if you book a Fiesta now, you’ll likely get it in January, which really isn’t too long a wait.
