1N2D PD, “Best friends special foot volleyball was like an A-match”
’1 Night 2 Days – Best Friends Special’ is drawing attention with the interesting preview already but Na Young Suk PD added to the level of anticipation with his remarks.
On December 16th and 17th, KBS 2TV’s weekend variety program ‘Happy Sunday – 1 Night 2 Days’ carried on the pre-recording of the ‘Best Friends Special’ with the members and their guests. On December 25th, the preview of the ‘Best Friends Special’ preview was presented with actor Lee Sun Kyun and Lee Seo Jin, singer Jang Woo Hyuk, and professional soccer players Lee Dong Wook (on team Jeonbook Hyundai) and Lee Gen Ho (on Gamba Osaka of the Japanese league) increasing the anticipation of the viewers exponentially.
In a conversation with OSEN recently, Na PD said wittily, “The foot volleyball was really fun. It a game played like an A-match soccer game. I ask you to keep your expectations up.”
’1 Night 2 Days – Best Friends Special’ had professional soccer players Lee Dong Kook and Lee Geun Ho participating and the members including Lee Seung Gi and Lee Soo Geun are well known for their love of soccer. The game of foot volleyball apparently was more competitive than ever.
Na PD also added, “The weather was colder than imagined. Everyone worked hard fighting against the extreme cold. It’s that much more fun thanks to those efforts so I ask for more of everyone to watch the episode.”
’1 Night 2 Days – Best Friends Special’ promises to deliver as much, if not more fun than the previous ‘Actresses Special’ and the ‘Myungpoom Supporting Actors Special’.
The ‘Best Friends Special’ will air on January 1st.

Kang Ho Dong encourages ’1N2D’ team to never grow weary

After the cast of ‘1N2D (1 Night 2 Days)‘ won the Entertainment ‘Daesang’ from KBS, they immediately called MC Kang Ho Dong to share the good news. The members tried calling several times, but Kang Ho Dong didn’t pick up.
In the end, Lee Soo Geun texted the MC on everyone’s behalf.
According to an insider close to Lee Soo Geun, Lee Soo Geun wrote, “We have been honored with the ‘Daesang’, thanks to you hyung. We want to share the glory with you,” among other things.
To the text messages, however, Kang Ho Dong replied right away writing back, “Do not ever grow weary or tired. I am glad to be able to share the honor with you.”
Even after the members were awarded the trophy, Lee Soo Geun remarked, “Big hyung, we will come visit you with this award,” giving the glory to their eldest member.
According to those close to MC Kang Ho Dong, the reason why he did not answer their calls was because he wanted the team to have all the glory. He watched the KBS Entertainment Awards on TV, and definitely wanted to be there with them. “He mostly stays at home, as far as we know. He has been unable to completely sort through his thoughts and his emotions, therefore cannot bring himself to answer calls from even his 1N2D members who are like blood brothers to him,” they said.
Meanwhile, ’1N2D’ is a variety program that began in 2007, and continues to receive high ratings to this day. The cast members of ’1N2D’ travel the nation to introduce the Korea’s most beautiful vacation spots as well as the best eats to the viewers, but is unfortunately coming to an end.
The last episode airs next February.
