I would say go for PS2 if you like to have bigger libraries of games. Besides PS2 games are cheaper than Xbox.you can get PS2 games around RM4 each whereas an Xbox game would cost you around RM7 or 8. Xbox is good if you want to play online games. That's where Xbox excells. But im not too sure if you can play using pirated games using GameTunnel or pthers like Xboxlink. Make your decision wisely coz you are going to spend a lot.

I'm sorry for the mistaken facts ,I knew that Onimusha is available on xbox and pc too.What I meant is the "periodic exclusiveness" for the Onimusha series on the ps2.PS2 always got the series first and then after 1 or 2 years later,then it will come to other platforms if Capcom feels like doing it.

yes u can play pirated Xbox games using online tunnel.. i've tried Halo, PGR2 and Top Spin using XLink under streamyx and it works fine.. |

But im looking forward to get myself an Xbox coz i want to play Halo2, Splinter Cell PT, Mech Assault2, SW Battlefront, SC Ghost, Riddick, Driver 3, most of all I want to try Gamespy Tunnel or XboxConnect to play online. |

hi vixen, from what i read of your post here i can safely assume that you love your x-box so much  , and i respect that. but imho, to compare PS2 graphics to xbox's is just not fair, its like comparing a proton car against a bmw car (proton & bmw are both cars).
PS2 was launched in 2000 whilst xbox in 2001, so microsoft has one year of technology advantage over sony.if you look at xbox's specs, you can tell that it is actually a PC with a controller, hence the graphic prowess it posesses.
What will happen when sony launch PS3? and then people will start comparing it with xbox.....and the cycle never ends. and suddenly Nintendo release a console that far superior than PS and xbox.....ohh well, one can only hope:lol
My friend in mypdacafe always tell that be the fan of games not console.As for my experience, the only reason that i bought ps2 was Gran Turismo 3. Then i was hooked on Rogue Squadron, so i bought GC and for my loyal companion GBA, a joyful distraction for me on my daily commute to work.i was thinking of picking up xbox myself, but still waiting if TOCA 2 is good enuf for me.

Love the Xbox? Not sure.Hmm..wonder how could anyone love an inanimate object? Anyway,I wasn't just talking about graphics/specs.My opinion is not just based on a technical viewpoint.The quality of the games,I meant.

Yup,it's the games that tell me that the Xbox is a much better console than the ps2.

kalau Ps2 ori tak boleh main game pirate... perlu di modify dulu baru boleh ...
Ps2 kat malaysia harga range RM 900 .. tapi kat tempat aku RM 1200
Xbox pulak... turun kot.. depends kepada towkey kedai itu..

Ok..I have both the Xbox and PS2...if you ask we which one is better...camnih...
PS2...DVD playing capabilities right out of the box. Bleh main DVD movie, be it D5 or D9 lah. games..standard aa murah je skang nih. recommended kalau u kaki tengok movie, rather than playing games. Also recommended for entry level gamers, or those looking to upgrade from PS1.
Xbox...modified versions do have the right out of the box DVD playing capability, but i heard of Xbox owners having problems later on. You see, Xbox requires a DVD dongle or sorts, only then can it play movies. As for the games...safe to say that's its superb in terms of graphics, but then again this depends on the games.Uh, and no Devil May Cry. Then again, if you have money to burn, what the hell?
As for GC, i dont think i can give any opinion, pasal aku takde lagi. |
