Kalau dalam buku DVC tu.. Robert Langdon digambarkan ala-ala irasnya seperti Indiana Jones.. jadi, Tom Hanks ni, mukanya handsome ke -but he is an excellent actor!

Ok.. semua handsome and powerful (except for Tom Hanks la..) kalau Russell Crowe jadi Robert Landgon mesti tengok dia jer, tak fhm jalan cerita pun takpe

ermm...first of all aku nak bagitau yang aku ni bukanla avid reader, actually mmg tak minat membaca pun..but aku ade belek2 buku DVC ni coz kakak aku beli and baca laa sikit2 coz nak tau what the big fuss about DVC and Dan Brown nih...and like everyone else aku pun tengah menunggu filem DVC arahan Ron Howard nih...but to my doubt, bila aku baca DVC aku sense macam ade something tak kena...bukan nak cakap dari segi fakta or message...but from Dan Brown punya writing style...pada pendapat aku yang amatur nih..aku rasalaa agak kebudak-budakan or tak professional...

aku dapati banyak frasa2 yang agak membosankan, dialog2 ala2 star wars seperti..and i quote

"he turned over to the long legged sexy professor with the high IQ in the face, she turned over and said "I will explain everything"

tu salah satu contoh yg aku baca...tapi mostly naratif dlm DVC macam tuh...its like..not that highly artistic for a book that been consider as highly artistic...itu just pada pendapat aku laa...janganla peminat2 robert langdon or dan brown bash aku plak lepas nih hehehe

well maybe mmg wooden narative mmg disengajakan oleh dan brown sebab nak permudahkan pemahaman readers tentang complicated storyline DVC yg sememangnya pelik...

so i turn to one of my friend who is an avid reader and live in the US, dia cakap eventhough DVC is selling like hot cakes all around the world, even in the US pun, most of hardcore thriller readers and critics melabelkan Dan Brown sbg "cardboard writers" or "the george lucas version of thriller author" disebabkan ketidakcekapan Dan Brown dalam mengendalikan naratif dan frasa berbanding kehebatan dia dalam menengahkan konsep dan idea yg menarik (mcm george lucas)...and my friends even said some of his friends hate DVC coz the hype around it seolah2 mengangkat DVC semacam satu karya agung despite its lack of artistic value..ni bukan aku cakap yer...but member aku...anyway aku takde anything against DVC..aku rasa the book is great eventhough i dont really read it and eager waiting for the film despite some critics regarding how DVC is a master of cliche and ripp off.....

aku dah baca empat2 buku dan brown...mmg best..

to me personally, DVC is numero uno...

highly recommended....kalo buat movie mungkin lebih menarik...

tapi terbayang hero muka harrison ford la pulak....

I recieved the DVC as a birthday gift...couldn't understand what all the hoopla was about till I read the book. DVC is truly an excellent fictional book. Initially, the start is a bit slow but after chapter 7, the book's pace began picking up. I enjoyed it tremendously. After reading, I Googled 'the last supper' and was so surprised to see that Dan's Brown description of the painting was extremely accurate...perhaps this is due to research.



as you can see, the person on Jesus's right is depicted as being John, but how uncanny is it that John resembles a woman. Peter(white hair and beard) is positioned next to John and looks like he is about to strangle John as you can see by the placement of peter's hand.

Anyway, DVC is entertaining in it's outrageous attitude to convince what Dan Brown is writing is based on fact. Anyone who reads his book should not even consider anything but be entertained in the fast moving read and besides, the book does after all go against the teaching of Islam except the fact that Jesus isn't the son of god. However, I personally find the book truly entertaining, exciting and one that I truly favor due to its literary value. It is definitely a 'must read' sort of book.

It seems that  another book called 'The Da Vinci Hoax' has been published to counter the absurdities of The Da Vinci Code, and to confront all the anti-Christian and anti-Catholic rhetoric that book has inspired. Its written by Carl Olsen and Sandra Miesel. Wondering if anyone here has read it.

repeat show yg i pasan is on saturday morn .. around 2am ... hari lain tak pasan .. but then NGC salunya dlm seminggu tu kan salu ulang2

I have seen the documentary... Banyak interview pasal kewujudan Mary Magdelen jer, tak banyak pun dia sentuh pasal Priory of Sion.. And I think, bila tgk documentary tu.. cara ditekankan pasal Priory of Sion tu, tak banyak sgt... very vague.. I was thinking the documentary will show more about every thing (about the Museum, Chapel, Opus Dei etc.) but I was disappointed bila documentary tu asyik tekankan pasal Mary Magdelene origin, her history etc.

The documentary should cover more on other aspects as well, even though the centre piece inside DVC is about Mary Magdelene - sbb ada viewer macam saya nak jugak tahu pasal fakta

aku pun disappointed gak tgk docu ni ... start2 je terus terjah psl mary magdalene's role in jesus' life ... so the central focus of the docu was based on her ... yg lelain tu cam highlight lebih kurang je.. pastu arguments depa pon cam boring ... cuma yg menarik perhatian aku mase part2 last yg compere tu highlightkan in a way DVC is a love story btw mary magdalene n jesus ... what a cute opinion...but the docu is a good effort sbb menarik minat mak aku sekalik tgk docu ni

Last Friday ada review pasal buku anti thesis The DaVinci Code.. tajuk buku tu The VaDinci Cod by Adam Roberts.. Daphne Ng ke yg review.. buku tu makes mockery out of DVC punye book. Yelah, antithesis of DVC.. Tapi Daphne cakap, buku ni kinda funny gak aa.. sebab dia cerita pasal minyak ikan kod.. so people expecting it will be a high solving case macam DVC will fall flat, sebab cerita ni pasal ikan.. heheheh

I am thinking to buy this.. nak tau gak buku yg make mockery of DVC ni.. best ke tak
