Angelina Jolie 'furious' as Brad Pitt's 'disrespectful' mother Jane buys her tomboy granddaughter Shiloh girly clothes

Angelina Jolie has reportedly been left furious after her boyfriend Brad Pitt's mother Jane insisted on buying 'girly' clothes for her notoriously tomboyish granddaughter Shiloh.
Despite Shiloh and her five siblings being allowed to choose their own clothes by their famous parents, Jane Pitt is said to have purchased a series of feminine outfits for the six-year-old.
According to the Evening Standard, Angelina found Jane's move 'disrespectful' for her to buy such clothes for Shiloh, considering it is well known that she likes to dress in similar style to her brothers.
A source told the newspaper: 'It's well documented that Shiloh likes to dress like a boy.
'But Jane still insists on buying her fairy costumes and princess dresses, which Angelina finds very disrespectful.'
It is the second time this year that Angelina has been left angry by Mrs Pitt, after Brad's mother wrote a letter to a local newspaper in the United States urging Americans to vote against President Obama in the upcoming elections because of his support for gay marriage.
n a letter to the Springfield News-Leader in Missouri urging support for Republican candidate Mitt Romney, Mrs Pitt wrote: 'Any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.'
Angelina and Brad, who are prominent supporters of gay marriage and President Obama, were said to be appalled by the letter.
They once said they would not marry until same-sex marriage was legalised in the States, but became engaged after pressure from their six children.
The source said: 'Brad and Angelina were devastated by Jane's actions. They have worked hard campaigning for equality, working closely with Barack Obama.
'Angelina called Jane and told her she believes she's setting a bad example for the kids.'
A source told Star magazine at the time of the letter: 'Jane has never wanted to talk politics with Angelina.
'She knew it would cause greater issues for them, and she wanted to try to have a relationship with the mother of her grandkids. She never thought her letter would be such a big deal.'
Brad once said of his mother’s outspoken views: ‘She’s very loving, very open, genuine, and it’s hilarious because she always gets painted as a she-devil.’
There were once rumours that Jane Pitt and husband Bill did not get along with their son's long-term partner, favouring his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston instead.
But such myths were dispelled when they stepped out together in December last year to support Angelina at the premiere of her first venture in the director's chair, The Land of Milk and Honey. |

Brad Pitt Buys Son Maddox a Motorbike for His 11th Birthday

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's little ones are growing up so fast!
The Moneyball star and Oscar-winning actress' oldest son Maddox turned 11 on Aug. 5 and papa Pitt made sure to get his son a grown-up gift to celebrate his coming of age.
Pitt bought a Suzuki DRZ-125 motorbike, a rep for the automobile and dirt bike company confirms to E! News. The sports vehicle was purchased at a dealership in Ruislip.
"He wants the boys to be able to ride them on private land," a source tells E! News of Pitt, who was spotted browsing bikes at HGB Motorbikes in Ruislip back in June. "It'll be a fun thing for them to do, and obviously he has a real passion for bikes which he'd like to pass on."
And yes, the birthday gift is age appropriate for 11-year-old Maddox. The DRZ-125 model is made specifically for the youth and young adult markets and only reaches a top speed on 50 miles per hour.
If you recall, Pitt and Maddox have a history in their love for off-road adventures together.
Back in 2005 when Pitt and Jolie first hooked up, Pitt and a then 4-year-old Maddox were spotted sporting around on a motorbike outside Jolie's Buckinghamshire, England estate.
Let's hope Jolie's bday gift to Maddox was some safety gear and a helmet!

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie To Wed This Weekend, French Media Report

Brad and Angelina are set to tie this knot ... THIS SATURDAY according to French reports.
The actors will wed at their French chateau, Miraval, on August 11, according to France 3 Cote d'Azur.
Meanwhile, the local newspaper for the region near Correns, Var Matin, says the pair will NOT be saying "I do" this weekend, but they teased readers today by saying: "The marriage will not take place on the 11th, but we'll have more information tomorrow in Var Matin!" What a cliffhanger!
X17online has a source that tells us:
"The wedding is definitely going to be soon. My brother is on the construction crew that's been remodeling Miraval and he says the renovations are definitely for the upcoming wedding and that everything is almost finished." Mind you -- our source told us this two weeks ago ... so could Saturday be the big day?!

'Family bash' sparks rumour that big day is imminent
BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sparked fevered wedding speculation by hosting a family bash at their French home this weekend.
Guests already at the chateau include Brad’s mum Jane and dad Bill — and top jeweller Robert Procop, who made Angelina’s engagement ring.
The bash is said to be for Jane and Bill’s 50th wedding anniversary — but locals think otherwise and claim there is a “real buzz” there.
A source said: “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now. They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here.”
The couple, who met on the set of hit film Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005 and have six kids, announced their engagement in April.
Their plan was always for a small ceremony at their Chateau Miraval home in the south of France. Brad, 48, recently bought Angelina, 37, a £250,000 watch as a pre-wedding gift.
Their guest list, said to be no more than 20, would include actor George Clooney, 51, who’s yet to arrive. A source said: “George and Brad are best pals, there’s no way he’d miss it.
“He’s at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There’s a real buzz around the estate.”
