Schumacher hints at car discrepancy
Michael Schumacher has hinted that his car has not always been on the same performance level as team-mate Nico Rosberg's Mercedes this season.
The seven-time world champion has endured a torrid season on his return to Formula One racing and has been consistently out-qualified and out-raced by the younger Rosberg.
And although Schumacher managed one of his better outings of the season with a sixth place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix, he indicated that there have been more problems with his car than with Rosberg's.
"The car worked great this time," Schumacher told German television channel RTL. "Unfortunately, I cannot say it has been that way at all the races.
"There have often been problems, especially on my car, in terms of the consistency, that were not always noticed from the outside. You only saw that I was slower. Both cars have not always been the same."
Mercedes' Norbert Haug did not disagree with Schumacher's claims.
"I cannot disagree with Michael. As far as the car is concerned, he is right," Haug told Bild newspaper.

setiap upgrade makin worst..schumy pun selalu cakap benda sama dari awal musim

tak juga sbb nico eksiden..bukan salah nico dia nak elak webber..
upgrade mergp kat korea mmg bagus..masa safety car lepas tu berenti kejap engineer mercgp setup balik kereta nico/michael dgn fully wet setup supaya boleh adapt masa race dlm hujan..then result pun ok..tapi takdela superior mcm ferrari/redbull..
aku perasan masa safety car michael tgh cari grip terbaik atas litar...malah hampir2 terbabas..itu normal bagi dia..cuma yg tak tahu akan cakap dia tak reti adapt litar baru.. |

Brawn says Mercedes is 'getting there'
Ross Brawn believes that his Mercedes GP team is finally starting to see the fruits of its labours to improve its car and structure this year after another strong showing in the Korean Grand Prix.
Although Michael Schumacher finished a strong fourth at Yeongam, the outfit could have grabbed another podium finish if Mark Webber had not taken out Nico Rosberg when he spun across the track after his early crash.
However, with the team's clever strategy of tweaking its set-up to be better for the wet under the early red flag having paid off, Brawn has said he is encouraged by the progress the outfit is making.
"We are getting there," said Brawn after the race. "It has probably taken a bit longer than we expected, but we keep seeing these really good bits of progress, and we are putting everything together for next year."
Mercedes GP stopped development of this year's car early on so it could focus on its 2011 challenger - but Brawn thinks improvements are still being made because the team is getting a better understanding of how to extract speed from its current machine.
"We are just getting everything working properly," said Brawn. "The F-duct is good, and we have the fastest straight-line speed now.
"We are not changing many things, just understanding how to set the car up, and it is really just consolidation, which is a lesson."
When asked if the knowledge gained this year could also be a help for 2011, Brawn said: "Maybe. I don't think things will directly translate but we have learned things from the last few races."
Brawn added that he thought Rosberg could well have finished second in Korea were it not for the Webber incident – but he did not want to waste time wondering what might have been,
"He was very happy with the car, but 'if' is Formula 1 spelt backwards, isn't it?" he explained. "I don't like to speculate. He was going very well, was comfortable with the car and could have been very strong."

rugi betul baru ujung2 season f-duct berfungsi baik..kenape tak pertengahan musim maybe boleh nampak nico/michael bleh naik podium..
FIA plz remove testing ban tu.. ambik masa terlalu lama nak develop kereta seperti skrg..:@ |

ko perasan tak bile Qualifying dan time race...Merc cume dapat kekalkn
kedudukan dalam top 10 je.. paling bagus pun duk grib no.5... lepas tu
bile race... Merc ketinggalan above 30sc every trak...... aku rase improve tu
tuk mengaburi mate sponsor je kot... sponsor perlu diyakinkn.. baru la depa tak lari...
tuk thn ni Merc pun dah tak leh buat ape dah... depa develop kete tuk thn depan je.... |

itu sbb ko nampak dgn masa kat every second antara driver dgn driver..
cuba ko tgk data plak dari setiap laps..perbezaan antara masa hujan/kering..
bila masa hujan boleh nampak mergp lagi bagus banding team lain..tapi slowly kereta mercgp tak boleh cacthup ferrari sbb Ferrari setup bukan dalam fully wet..ko boleh tgk massa tinggalkan michael sbb michael masih lagi dalam fully wet setup bila track dah tak byk air |
