Aktris Malaysia Ini Jadi Brand Ambassador Berhijab Pertama Lancome

Jakarta - Blogger berhijab Nura Afia sempat menjadi sorotan karena menjadi brand ambassador dari kosmetik Amerika, Cover Girl. Seperti Nura Afia, kini seorang aktris Malaysia berhijab yang mencuri perhatian dunia. Selebriti Malaysia dengan sapaan akrab Neelofa dipilih menjadi brand ambassador brand asal Prancis, Lancome.
Aktris cantik dengan nama asli Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor itu bahkan diklaim sebagai wanita berhijab pertama yang menjadi brand ambassador Lancome di Malaysia. Tak hanya menjadi 'wajah baru' untuk Lancome Malaysia tapi juga secara internasional. Melalui akun Instagram pribadinya, Neelofa mengaku masih tak menyangka bisa menjadi bagian dari Lancome.
"Ketika #LancomeMY memintaku untuk menjadi ambassadress pertama mereka, aku tak bisa berkata tidak untuk sebuah brand yang merepresentasikan produk berkualitas tinggi dengan visi menakjubkan untuk semua wanita di dunia," ujar Neelofa di Instagram.
Wanita yang juga dikenal sebagai presenter dan pengusaha hijab itu juga menuturkan kalau ia senang bisa bekerjasama dengan Lancome. Neelofa berharap, dirinya bisa menginspirasi wanita lain terutama di bidang kecantikan seperti visi-misi Lancome.
Selain Neelofa, Lancome punya brand ambassador lain seperti selebriti Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, Lupita Nyong'om Lily Collins, dan Isabella Rossellini. Sebelum menjadi brand ambassador, selebriti berusia 28 tahun itu sudah pernah menjadi pembicara dalam acara Lancome ketika merilis lini parfum La Nuit Tresor.
Tidak hanya Lancome, Neelofa juga diketahui menjadi brand ambassador perhiasan asal Austria, Swarovski. (ays/ays)

The 28-year-old beauty is French beauty brand Lancome’s latest acquisition. It’s a first both for the country and in that she’s the first hijabi to sign with the brand. Neelofa is perhaps best known for her role in the TV drama Suri Hati Mr Pilot, and she’s no stranger to the spotlight. With five million Instagram followers and appearances at the United Nations under her belt, we’d say she’s more than qualified. “I have always been a fan of Lancome and I have grown to love the brand more over the years because its values, vision and philosophy align with my values as a woman,” she wrote on Instagram. “So, I really feel honored and grateful when Lancome [Malaysia] chose me to be the brand’s first ambassadress!” Neelofa joins Kate Winslet, Julia Roberts, Emma Watson and Juliette Binoche as part of the Lancome roster. Not a bad team to join, if you ask us. The brand is clearly thrilled as well – they call her Malaysia’s number one celebrity in promotional materials. Speaking of famous mates, Neelofa posted on Instagram recently with pictures of her hanging out with Karlie Kloss. We’re thinking she must have asked for a couple of tips. Not that she really needs them. This hijabi is extremely at home in front of the camera. Good on Lancome for snapping her up.
