tadi mak beli red velvet.. kek dia, gebu dan rapuh sgt2... tapi kaler oren, jadi baldu jingg ...

mungkin dia letak gelatin dlm cheese frosting kot supaya lebih stable, sebab baruni saya letak gelatin, pun jadi cam keras ala2 chilled cheesecake gitu..

Finallyyy.. TERRRRRbaking gak RVC niii.. Even topping comot yg amat, tp puashati gaklaa sebab rasenye mmg sedap (ikut resepi JOB, tp tiru Serikandi Gurl, ganti sumer cuka dgn lemon)
Baking mlm smlm, hari ni baru makan.. Anak2 wish mother's day.. rupe2nyee saya buat kek utk diri sendiri yek!

sorry MOD lari tajuk skit....slalunyer bila dpt tempahan fardz akan beli tepung, gula, majerin n etc ... mcm  bhn2 tu kan kita x pki semua...so ...nak kira mcm ner yek...klu kira total dengan harga barang yg dibeli..mahal lah plak jadik nye kan....tolong terangkan..sorry saya mmg x tau ......

    cantik yerk topping...nampak kukuh....pakai resepi mana yek...bleh share .. yg pernah buat .. cream cheese, butter, gula n 1 cwn fresh cream......jadi cair cam berminyak...bila piping x cantik.......nak melepa pun ssh......ke sy salah teknik....

Hi Fardz...
   
Ni resepi topping yang biasa saya gunakan.

250gm cream cheese (sy guna Philadelphia)
150ml whipping cream (saya guna Anchor)
80gm icing sugar
esen vanilla

Putar cream cheese dan icing sugar dengan kelajuan sederhana sehingga sebati. Masukkan esen vanila. Putar sebati. Masukkan whipping cream sedikit demi sedikit sehingga mendapat kepekatan yang dikehendaki.
Simpan di dalam peti sejuk dahulu sebelum digunakan sebagai topping. Biasanya saya simpan 2@3 jam sebelum guna.

Kalau cair atau berminyak tu berkemungkinan over beat. Putar dengan kelajuan sederhana sahaja.

semalam 2st time pearl rasa red velvet ni..beli kat kiosk dlm aeon seberang jaya..

nk konfirmkan, mmg rasa dia cam butter cake je ke..tecture pun cam butter cake...

i tot, texture die gebu2...sbb ada buttermilk tu...hmm...

mohon penjelasan....sebelum try wat sendri...hihi...

ooo...whipping cream tu msk ckit2 yek....sblm nie fardz pukul cream cheese, butter n gula dlm magkuk yg berlainan dgn fresh cream yg dipukul smpi bertanduk...pastu baru dicampurkan guna spatula....

lps nie nak try yg ayanganje nyerk lah.....tq 4 sharing ...

Ini kes penjual buat short cut Red Velvet. Guna butter cake resipi cuma warnakan merah.. RV ni, taste dia unik. Gebu2 moist dan ada taste of sweet & very mild sour(from buttermilk). Encourage buat sendiri utk betul2 rasa nikmat kek ini.

kalau homemade buttermilk tu kita leh gantikan cuka dengan lemon...lepas tu bancuhan kek pon kan ada guna cuka + soda bikarbonat jugak, boleh ke gantikan cuka tu dengan lemon jugak???
