PSG mahu 'pancing' Suarez
PARIS - Gergasi bola sepak Perancis, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) bersedia mengemukakan tawaran membawa keluar penyerang kontroversi Liverpool, Luis Suarez dari Anfield.
Pendahulu Liga Perancis itu kini terdesak untuk mendapatkan penyerang bertaraf dunia dan mengalihkan tumpuannya kepada Suarez selepas usaha membeli Carlos Tevez dan Alexandre Pato, Januari lalu menemui kegagalan.
PSG merasakan, mereka boleh mengambil kesempatan di atas kemelut yang sedang dihadapi Suarez di England selepas terlibat dalam kontroversi dengan pemain pertahanan Manchester United, Patrice Evra.
Bintang penyerang Uruguay berusia 25 tahun itu baru menamatkan penggantungan lapan bulan kerana didapati bersalah menghambur kata-kata berbau perkauman terhadap Evra, Oktober lalu dan dia menjadikan suasana bertambah tegang apabila enggan berjabat tangan dengan pemain Perancis itu dalam saingan di Old Trafford, Sabtu lalu.
Suarez bagaimanapun telah meminta maaf atas perbuatannya kerana telah memalukan pengurus, kelab serta penaja mereka, malah insiden tersebut juga menyebabkan masa depan pemain tersebut di Anfield kini menjadi tanda tanya.
Dia dibeli dari kelab Belanda, Ajax dengan bayaran 22.8 juta pound (RM110 juta) pada Januari tahun lalu. Sejak itu, Suarez telah menghasilkan 13 gol dalam 36 penampilan bersama pasukan, malah turut menjaringkan gol dalam kepulangan pertama ke pangkuan kelab, minggu lalu selepas bebas daripada penggantungan.
Meskipun Suarez mempunyai kontrak bersama Liverpool sehingga 2016, PSG yang kini dibimbing bekas jurulatih Chelsea, Carlo Ancelotti yakin penyerang Uruguay itu pasti cuba mengeluarkan dirinya daripada kontroversi di England dan menyertai rakan rapatnya, Diego Lugano di kelab Perancis itu. Malah, PSG dilaporkan telah memulakan langkah untuk bertemu wakil Suarez.
Lugano yang merupakan kapten Uruguay sering mempertahankan Suarez, baik di rangkaian sosial Twitter mahupun dalam temu bual dengan media sejak beberapa minggu lalu.
Sementara itu Presiden Palermo, Maurizio Zamparini berkata, pasukannya juga berminat untuk mendapatkan pemain No. 7 Liverpool itu jika dia sedia dilepaskan. - AGENSI |

Maxi Rodriguez is set to return to the Liverpool FC squad for Sunday's FA Cup fifth round tie with Brighton.
The Reds midfielder hasn't featured since the victory over Manchester United in the last round three weeks ago but has recovered from a foot injury he sustained in training.
Earlier this week Rodriguez was recalled to the Argentina squad to face Switzerland in a friendly later this month.
Boss Kenny Dalglish has no injury concerns ahead of the clash with Gus Poyet's Championship side.
Teenage full-backs Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson are also back in contention having proved their fitness in the reserves.
"Maxi is back training," Dalglish said.
"He had a kick on his foot in training but he's fine now.
"He's back in the Argentina squad which is good for him.
"Everybody who is fit is in our thinking for Sunday, even Flanno and Jack Robbo. We have had to be careful with Flanno as he has had an injury but he is back in the frame." |

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool winger target Ola John has opened the door to a possible summer move from FC Twente.
The Liberian-born 19-year-old has been named in the Dutch senior squad for the first time ahead of their friendly against England at Wembley at the end of the month, having previously represented the Netherlands at U19 level.
An appearance against the Three Lions would offer John the chance to showcase his skills in-front of watching English eyes, and the teenager is well aware that it's a chance to prove his ability in a country where he wants to play football.
"I first want to do everything I can to make FC Twente champions again," said Steve McClaren's starlet.
"Then I'll know the time is right to switch to a big English club. Through my brother Collins, I know how beautiful it is to play in the Premier League."
Liverpool were linked with a move for the player in November, when talkSPORT reported that the Anfield outfit faced competition from La Liga side Sevilla for the player's signature.
John also revealed in September that he'd rejected the advances of both Manchester United and Arsenal though, admitting he wanted to stay in the Eredivisie and work on his game before making a big move to the Premier League.
"At the moment I've extended my contract with Twente. I was interesting Manchester United and Arsenal, but I have chosen to remain with Twente," he claimed.
"In any case, it is too early to go to England."
It's clear that John feels that the time is coming though, and he could follow in his brother's footsteps after his spell at Fulham in the top flight.

Liverpool will take on Ajax in the semi-final of the NextGen Series at Anfield on Wednesday, March 14.
The Dutch side produced an impressive performance to beat Barcelona in the quarter-final, while Liverpool progressed after Tottenham's withdrawal from the competition, after the London side made the NextGen Series aware of an inadvertent breach of a competition regulation.
The semi-final at Anfield will kick-off at 7pm.
Marseille take on Inter Milan in the other semi-final clash. The Italians knocked out pre-tournament favourites Sporting Lisbon in the quarter-final.
Supporters should also note the reserves clash with Newcastle, scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, will be rearranged. |

enny Dalglish could welcome back fit again Maxi Rodriguez into his side for our FA Cup fifth round encounter with Brighton on Sunday.
The 31-year-old has not featured since our fourth round victory over Manchester United almost three weeks ago due to a foot injury.
But having received an international call-up from Argentina this week, Maxi is now also back in contention for Liverpool.
The winger has started all but two of our cup encounters this season.
Dalglish said: "Maxi is back training. He had a kick on his foot in training but he's fine now.
