Katrina is mad after Salman

Katrina Kaif who traveled a long way from modeling to acting to launching diamond hut is now working in David Dhawan's untitled movie opposite her so called boyfriend. Earlier, she acted as a hot sensation in Kaizad Gustad's 'Boom'. She is said to be mad after Salman Khan, and would do anything on his suggestion. The latest report is that she changed spelling of her name on the advice of Salman. Sallu had convinced her that her movies had flopped because of the wrong spelling of her name. As the trend is with so many stars like Karishma,Kareena, Tusshar and Suniel Shetty, among many others, Katrina agreed to change the spelling of her name.

Juhi is a singer too

Juhi Chawla will sing again after how long is a mystery. She will sing in Bangalore towards the month-end and not in a shoot but at a function. The Art of Living is organizing an event in the southern city, and has made Juhi to sing a bhajan there. When asked how she agreed to this proposal at all, she said it's the wish of her best friend though a long lost one. And her best friend is none other than actress Nagma. Juhi says that both of them worked together in Sawan Kumar's 'Bewafa Se Wafa Tak'. Since then they have been good friends, Juhi added.

BIPASHA KO GUSSA BHI AATA HAI

Bipasha Basu, the sexiest actress, can turn a young woman too. The occasion was the music release party of 'Rakth'. During the event a reporter sought her comment on reports of her double romance. Bipasha lost temper and gave a long lecture to the questioner. She said, "Every one knows that I am dating John Abraham". Those present there were shocked to notice the pretty girl in an angry mood. But they didn't wonder as they were reminded that she learnt it during her acting with the industry's angry young man Amitabh Bachchan.

This is another thing that Dino Morea still loves her. He hasn't lost hope yet. When he was asked about marrying with Bipasha, he quipped, "Why don't you ask Bipasha if she would marry me? As far as I am concerned I am always ready to marry with her. This is in spite of Bipasha often getting angry over any reference of her affair with Dino. This is to recall that when Dino Morea had a near-fatal accident during the shooting of 'Sssshhh...', Bipasha was soon seen by his side. This was despite Bipasha dating John Abraham at that point of time. Dino had then said, " Bipasha and I still talk to each other. We connect well. She is my best friend and understands me like very few people do."

NOTHING IS TABOO FOR TABU

Yes, Tabu has done a number of art movies like 'Kala Paani', Gulzar's 'Maachis', 'Chandani Bar', 'Astitiva', Maqbool' and 'Meenaxi' of M.F. Hussain. But she says it never meant that she would not do commercial movies in future though the industry thought that she had quit commercials for art movies. The industry was not wrong, as incidentally Tabu has not done any movie during the last one year. When confronted with this question, Tabu said, "This is not the reason for not signing any movie. I have never said that I will not do any commercial film." She elaborated it by saying that she would do whatever is assigned to her. "I am ready to do all types of Latka Jhakta dance. I am also ready to do it in Choli-Ghagra dress."

When asked to explain her absence from the film world during the last one year, Tabu said, "I had been so busy in shooting of movies that I had forgotten about myself. So I decided to refresh myself." Thus she explained her absence from her profession for a year. The industry as well as her fans are eagerly awaiting to see her in a commercial movie with Latke Jhatke in Ghagra-Choli to compete with others in Bollywood overtaken by sex and skin show.

Manoj Bajpai in crossover 'All Alone'

Manoj Bajpai has done it quietly. He has entered the international arena by shooting a crossover 'All Alone' in Mauritius with Diana Hayden and two French actresses and a British actor. Besides, he says several of his movies are ready to release. He includes 'Intequam' of Pankaj Parashar, 'Bewafa' of Boney Kapoor and 'Hanan' of Makarand Deshpande in them.

Esha banking on 'Dhoom'

Esha Deol's career may take a turn in 'Dhoom' possibly and that too along another star like her Abhishek Bachchan. Both of them have done quite a few movies, but have not had a hit so far. Both of them are stars' kins, and badly need a hit sooner than any later. Esha is banking on 'Dhoom' as well as her second movie 'No Entry' opposite Salman Khan. She is very happy with an encouraging response to her performance in Manitratnam's Yuva'.

Bipasha excels all

After Bipasha Basu's bold performance in 'Jism' and her other movies, all Bollywood girls have started following her in showing or exposing their skin as much as possible. However, Bipasha is talented too. Her acting in her movies is excellent by all standards. So these girls have failed to excel her in skin show even. Bipasha is one who doesn't get frustrated even though her 'Aetbaar', 'Rudraksh' and 'Ishq Hai Tumse' flopped at the box office. Now, she is sure to have a hit in Boney Kapoor's 'No Entry' directed by Anees Bazmi though there are three more girls in this movie to compete with her. According to reports reaching us, Bipasha is leading over others including Lara Dutta, Celina Jaitley and Esha Deol.

Aish keen on Hollywood films

Aishwarya Rai is back in India after the eleven- month long shooting schedule in Hollywood. Now, she has decided to complete her Bollywood projects. After returning from the Cannes Film Festival, Aish is showing more interest in Hollywood. And her foreign agent too wants that she does more and more commercial projects. Now every thing is up to Aish. Her Indian fans are eagerly waiting for her decision. Either Aish will give more attention to Bollywood films and of course to Vivek, or follow her foreign agent's advice. According to the sources close to her, Aish was upset during the Cannes film festival because Vivek Oberoi, who was supposed to go to the Cannes along with her, couldn't make it because of some unknown reasons.

Namrata's case against 'Insaaf' producer

Namrata Shirodkar has filed a case against producer Mohammed Faseeh and his company Showman International for not paying her dues for working in their movie titled 'Insaaf'.According to the petition, Namrata has complained that she acted in 'Insaaf' for a fee of Rs two and a half lakh, but has been paid Rs one and a half lakh only. She added that the producer's check had bounced twice, and the producer didn't respond to her calls for the balance payment.

Title change provokes Madhoo

Roja fame actress Madhoo got angry with her director Kallol Sen for changing the title of her new movie from 'Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha' to 'Love, Sex, etc'. She said, "I was away in London last month and came to know just a week back that the film's title had been changed from 'Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha' to 'Love, Sex, etc'." The actress said that she was not informed about the change in the title. Madhoo added, "Thanks to the new title, anybody would think it's a sleazy B-grade production." 'Love, Sex, etc.' revolves around inter-personal and live-in relationships and has a strong sexual overtone. Madhoo has played a psychiatrist with lesbian tendencies though. She is awaiting the film's release before further comment.

VIVEK & AISH TOGETHER IN 'KYON HO GAYA NAA'

'Kyon... ho Gaya Naa' is a movie starring Vivek Oberoi playing as Arjun and Aishwarya Rai as Diya. According to the story, Arjun is a carefree young man but has his own views about love and marriage. Like today's young men he doesn't believe in love, and wants to marry according to the advice of his parents. That's why he always says, 'Pyaar and Haar' (Love and defeat do not exist in my dictionary). On the other hand, Diya is a beautiful and modern girl. Her views are quite opposite to those of Arjun. She thinks that love is a nice feeling and every girl passes through this stage. Diya believes that she will marry with the person on her own choice. She will not marry a person on the advice of her parents.

Incidentally, Arjun and Diya meet one day. However, they don't pull on with each other. Their every meeting ends with a small quarrel. So nobody imagines that both of them will get married. Enters Amitabh as an uncle and brings Arjun and Diya together. This is a miracle indeed!

Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya are working together for the first time in this movie. Similarly, Amitabh and Vivek are also seen together for the first time. The movie is ready for release on August 6th. Bonney Kapoor produces the movie and Sameer Karnik has directed it. The movie is made under the banner of Narsimha Enterprises with Javed Akhtar as lyrist. The trio of Shankar Ehsaan and Loy has given the music.

DIA BLASTS MYTH OF STRIPPING & AFFAIR WITH SUNIEL

Is Dia a stripper? She says no, and adds, "I do play the role of a stripper in 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha' of director Anurag Basu of the 'Murder' fame. However, the movie focuses on the stripper's personal life, but there are no stripping scenes in it." Similarly, when she came back to Mumbai, there was a cruel gossip taking the round in the media that she has an affair with Suniel Shetty. She blasted this myth by saying that such gossips do come up during the outdoor shooting of a movie. Dia added, "I call Suniel as Anna, which means brother. I respect him as a brother." Incidentally, she confessed her break with Bunty Sachdev, and added, " I am a free bird now though I feel sad about my break up of relations with Bunty. We had very close relations with his family. It looks that I have lost a good family. I may take some time to get out of this situation.

Dia Mirza and Lara Dutta are good friends. When Lara Dutta came back after shooting a film abroad, she went straight from the airport to meet with Dia Mirza, even though the latter was busy in shooting of her movie. Both of them enjoyed a lot, but Dia Mirza seemed to be happier. She has been feeling sad following her break with Bunty Sachdev. She has been down but not out though she has undergone a great strain recently, both in her personal as well as professional life. She had a brief role in Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi starrer 'Kyon Ho Gaya Naa'. She was recently in Coorg for the shooting of this movie.

Antra Mali so obsessed with Madhuri Dixit that she named her self-Mohini in her forthcoming movie 'Gayab' (Invisible). Mohini was Madhuri's name in 'Tezaab'. As is well known that she played Madhuri Dixit in her last film 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahati Hoon'. Antra consider Madhuri as her idol. When asked about 'Gayab', Antra said this is a fantasy film. However, she is fully aware that this is a hypothetical situation and does not arrive in real life. In 'Gayab', she displays her romance with an invisible man. She agrees that her romantic pair with Abhishek Bachchan in 'Naach' has gone very well. But she adds that said this is usual. Earlier, she paired with Vivek Oberoi in 'Road' and 'Company', and both earned goodwill of the audience. She feels that any pair looking good in a movie is considered as a romantic pair by the viewers.

Regarding doing more films, she feels that this is not essential, and may not work to one's credit. Therefore, she likes to do two films a year and perhaps not more than 20 in her career. Besides, she is prepared to enter the film direction too but in the long run, and not at present. She would definitely think of making films. And, whenever she directs a movie in future, she would not act in that movie, as is happening in film industry these days. She is very particular about it.

Aishwarya to visit Pakistan to campaign against polio
  
Islamabad: Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai will visit Pakistan towards the end of October to campaign against polio, Health Minister Mohammad Nasir Khan said.

"I just talked to the Indian Health Minister and he has confirmed that he, along with Aishwarya Rai, would visit Pakistan," he was quoted as saying by Daily Times.

Officials here said Rai抯 visit could take place on October 27.

Rai, also very popular in Pakistan, is India抯 polio ambassador and has been actively campaigning against the disease.

Pakistan's Health Ministry had been working for some time for the exchange of polio ambassadors in order to augment its campaign to eliminate polio from the country.

Nasir Khan said he would visit India along with Pakistani pop singer Jawad Ahmed, who is Pakistans polio ambassador, after the visit of the Indian delegation.

He said the exchange of polio ambassadors was decided in June when he met the Indian Health Minister during the annual meeting of World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva.

Officials said Rai was invited to inaugurate the polio campaign in Pakistan on September 27 but she could not accept the invitation due to her busy schedule.

Khan said the exchange of polio ambassadors would be unique and fruitful for the people of both countries. "Health diplomacy is something very important for both India and Pakistan and we are proud of having taken the initiative."

Invisible Tusshar In verma's 'Gayab'

Veteran director-cum- producer Ram Gopal Verma's forthcoming venture is 'Gayab', starring Tusshar Kapoor, Antara Mali and Raghubir Yadav. Prawal Raman has directed it, and says that it is the story of Tusshar who is a loser throughout his life. No body takes him seriously, not even his mother or her ladylove. He creates problems for himself. So people around him make his life tougher, so much so that his friends tease instead of sympathizing with him. Antara Mali, his love, also doubts his existence. Hence he becomes invisible. Let's see if Tusshar, the invisible, is a blessing or a curse?

Hrithik's 'Jai Jawan' on channel

Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen in a channel's show 'Jai Jawan'.
